This is awesome. I love the sky shots of battles from LOTR, Troy, and Alexander. I also love the Total War games but I wish the battles were bigger. I think I would have loved a career doing this. Not only because I love big battles but I love strategy/tactics and that is severely lacking in most movies with big battles it seems.
Hello there :) I am pretty curious if this works with Maya2022 as well, since I downloaded the plugin and it actually also installed properly but it did not create a MiArmy-shelf even though it said that the plugin was loaded... Did I just do something wrong, or is MiArmy not compatible with Maya2022? :/
I used to be in CGI on Hollywood features but I’m retired now since 2011. However, I still want to play around as a hobby. I have a pet project where I just want to see the physics of motorcycle crashes on a dummy (rag doll). If I remember correctly, rigid-body dynamics might well be sufficient. Or maybe not. I just need collisions, co-efficients of friction of surfaces, gravity, and velocity. There won’t be any character animation per se. Do you think I need a plug-in, like MIARMY or another plugin? Or just maya dynamics? Thanks for any help.

Hi, I've been trying this but my AOs are just animated collapsed boxes when the animation is ran. Any help?
