In UK one needs just 20,000 to 25,000 votes to win parliamentary election.
UK has 650 MPs for 65 million people. That is 100,00 per constituency.
After deducting minors and those who abstain from voting actually only about 40,000 to 50,000 vote in a constituency.
There are 7 or 8 small parties and independents in each constituency.
A Municipal council constituency in a big city like Bangalore or Bombay has more voters than a British parliamentary constituency.
What's your point ??? Perhaps if there was no bribing during elections& corruption in general, good candidates might have stood a chance in India.
@@yvonnedias2043 my point is whenever an Indian origin person contests or wins an election to the lower house of parliament the Indian English media and their blind followers start chest thumping as though they have won a big election. Indians or for that matter non white settlers are heavily concentrated in certain localities and winning in such constituencies is no big deal.
Sunak won by getting just 23,000 votes. Mishra won by getting 21,870. Can they win a US Senate race where the constituency is one single state? In 2020 a presidential candidate named Andrew Chang was of Chinese origin. Nobody called him Chinese American. Senators Cruz and Rubio are of Cuban origin. Nobody calls them Cuban American. Why Indian media is obsessed in calling foreign citizens Indian Americans, British Americans etc. Nobody calls Sonia G an Italian Indian MP except a few hate peddlers.
At least , no space for Andhbhaqts ( blind followers) , here laws must be followed at all cost. Full stop. No biased judges or speakers like in India.

What does knanaya have anything to do with any of this?. And what development did knanayas bring? They did nothing. They were always under the shadow of the syro Malabar Christians and also sometimes stole the reputation gained by the syro Malabar Christians.
