Just bought this and the manual says the following (it's currently charging so I haven't tested these yet):
-Use the red button to change between gears. First gear equals more torque for going uphill, second gear is more speed for straightaways.
-To activate cruise control, press the throttle down for 10 seconds. To deactivate, press the throttle or apply the brake.
@@random_fella.17322 Just to follow up, I can validate that the cruise control works and it's awesome. However, I haven't been able to figure out the first gear/second gear setting so I think that one is bunked.
@@redbirdsjunkie alr but I don't think I can even use cruise control bc I mostly use mine on dirt gravel and grass and it's not very smooth
@redbirdsjunkie the older models (red cable ones) have that feature the new blue ones dont from research on them
@@alphonsoskate5193 Ah ok gotcha. I also read somewhere yesterday that the newer models have this automatically enabled, not sure if that’s true 🤷🏻♂️
I struggled with the cruise also. But figured out that while I was riding, I kept the throttle held at 12 and didn’t realize that I had engaged the cruise until I hit the break. I wasn’t holding the throttle down like I had been so I didnt notice that it was keeping speed. I kept trying to “push” what looked like a button but it’s not. Just a nice place to rest your thumb. Will be perfect for the campground. If I want something more, I will ride my e-bike.
What i found, is its a bit disapointing for an adult, but as a kids scooter at 10 years old its insane. My daughter who is almost 10 hasnt been brave enough to get it up to speed yet and at just 70 pounds it crawls up mountains with her on it.
If you’re not going to be ripping it up hills then it’s fine for an adult and priced low. Just know it’ll slow down to about 5 mph or so on big inclines
Thanks for the Review, how much is the Batterie loaded when its new from Store?
Convinced me not to get it because I live in a hilly area. Thanks!
I just got one today from Walmart. The manual mentions switching gears low and high. I wonder if the newer versions just do it automatically because I can't tell. The manual doesn't really clarify how it's done?
I heard the newer ones released don't have a gear switch it's already let's you go top speed which is 15.5 mph
It says it has 3 gears in the manual have you figured this feature out?
how long have you been using it. I cannot turn it on after a month.
Im only 80 pounds and have gone over 20 mph!
Is it just an electric scooter or can u still use it old school manually..?
I rode my daughters. I'm 290 +/- and it easily hits 15mph .. but I can figure out how to set the cruise below 10mph
Got my son this scooter and it's broken already 😂 It got wet and currently researching a solution.
How do you charge it dude?
I have connected mine to a timer so as to not overcharge the battery. The kind that you can get to make a lamp turn off and on while you're away on vacation or something.
Ooh yea totally easy fix
Thank you for the review. Love mine . I’m 5.1 and 125. Its perfect for me. Thank you again
