My father would use to hum this song to me all the time when I was a child. When I was feeling down he would hum this melody to cheer me up. He was the rock in which my family resided on. My dad passed away from cancer last night. As I sort through his items and going through his messages he left for me and my family, he sent me a link to this video; he was still in hospital battling cancer when he sent it but even during the darkest hours he always placed us first in our hearts. We love you Dad, may you rest in peace! And to those who spent time reading this, thank you! @@marcelowick7630Actually the original song is from Bolivia 🔥 . Composed by the brothers Ulises and Gonzalo Hermosa, this melody tells the story of the heartbreak experienced by Gastón Guardia, musician and wind of the Bolivian group. In the 1970s, Gastón Guardía had fallen in love with the sister of Ramiro de la Zerda, a former member of Los Kjarkas. However, when Ramiro's parents found out about the musician's feelings for her daughter, they decided to take her from him. The reason for this separation would have been due to the supposed 'bad reputation' that the musicians had. Although this version has not been corroborated, the truth is that this unfortunate event in the sentimental life of Gastón Guardía inspired the Hermosa brothers to create one of the most famous songs of the Bolivian folkloric group. On the other hand, the Lambada was a very sensual dance where the women simulated the movements of a whip (Lambada), the ladies wore very, very short skirts that did not leave much to the imagination, then when a man accompanied her in the dance their movements looked like... you know

I’m 12 and I’m driving home from a weekend trip. We’re in the car listening to the music that he grew up and it amazes me that someone so far away is listening to the same song in a range of such little time. I appreciate your comment. Much love and fortune to you.

@@marcelowick7630 Good, that's right.
On the other hand, the Lambada was a very sensual dance where the women simulated the movements of a whip (Lambada), the ladies wore very, very short skirts that did not leave much to the imagination, then when a man accompanied her in the dance their movements looked like... you know

Songs of this era were able to transport you to another world. Something i cannot describe. It's in the music, it's in the voice. Perfection is the only way to describe....
Now music doesn’t have the same heart and soul as it did.
Un clásico que no debe Olvidarse nunca
My wife and I listened to this music as kids in Romania, that's how popular it was. Since I met her only in my 20's I often imagine that the boy and the girl are me and my wife 25 years ago. It's one of the easiest way for me to imagine I was her friend as a kid. I love you, Anamaria, if you are reading this, and I am so blessed to be your husband, lover and life dance partner :-*

Your last name is actually one of the most common last names in Romania. At one point I had 3 girls in my class named Stoica (so like 10% of the whole class). Did you catch any Romanian language? You should visit Romania - as a tourist it is beautiful
Mike Nica Wow! And yeah my Fathers side of the family speaks Romanian, every time I would go visit them id have to lol and of course! I plan on going to Romania someday, its in my blood! I have no doubt in the world that it will be the most eye opening experience for me I'm very excited to go one day!
