I heard that from my aunt when the police started the investigation in my case. “ Well, you must’ve liked it if you let it go on for so long “. Haven’t talked to her since. I cringed when Steve said “I’m not saying you’re a bad person”. Hell I was...Because even tho she passed, she still is in many other ways. Gaslighting her daughter many times (on stage alone, which makes you wonder how long she’s being doing it before the show), she verbally, mentally and emotionally abused her, failed her as a “mother”. She basically blamed her and made her feel even worse.. asking her if she liked it/saying she must’ve liked it AS A CHILD!! Etc…. And that’s only what we know of. Can’t imagine what it was TRULY like for her (and her siblings) behind closed doors. And then all the stuff she did to/the lying on Alica.. almost destroying HER life (luckily both women were able to rise above). Aside from whatever other issues they had between them… she’s clearly jealous that she’s a better/more of a mother to her daughter. Like she’s said. “The mother she needs/deserves”

Just a horrible mother with a sickening defensive attitude. I just don't understand how a mother could ever be hatefully on guard against her abused child. I heard that from my aunt when the police started the investigation in my case. “ Well, you must’ve liked it if you let it go on for so long “. Haven’t talked to her since. She tried once, asked my mother to hand her the phone when they were on vacation together. I told my mother I don’t want to talk to her and I didn’t. Nothing I have to say to that woman.
