I just noticed when Casey picks up Morgan, he still has a scar on his hand from the cigar burn earlier in the episode. Not sure if that was makeup or if Adam Baldwin actually got burned there, but really neat to see that attention to detail!

Yeah that's Drax And this show had a fine casting of people Brandon Ruth as Shaw ( superman / ray palmer ATOM) Fulcrum agent at Chuck vs santa claus was played by the guy who played Yondu Bautista as TI ( Drax ) Chuck is currently Shazam And let's not forget Stan Lee made a cameo as los Angeles Spy (Chuck season 5 episode 7 )
yeah, it was during the early stage of Dave Bautista's acting career when he was doing bit guest spots on various TV shows like Chuck, Smallville, and a couple others
I disagree. The show definitely had great direction S1 through the first half of S5. Really Chuck vs Bo is where a lot of plot points that were set up in early S5 are just dropped and never followed up on which makes the ending feel disorganized. Chuck's writers used a tactic similar to many other shows where they'd set up several parallel plot points in the beginning of a season and converge them all by the end. This is common across every season, just look at where S4 starts and ends for example. This is actually a great thing, as the connection of these items is what created a lot of the most climatic moments in the show allowing for effective resolution stories. S5 starts on the same trend, but the last four episodes tell their own story that is independent of the rest of the season. There are lots of things in S5E1 - S5E8 that never get followed through on. All of Carah's finances being frozen, the dream house, the fate of Carmichael Industries, the fact that Sarah's mom's identity is no longer anonymous, life after the last mission, and the big one introduced in the finale arc, the fate of Sarah's memory. I personally believe everything I just wrote was written incredibly well as an individual plot point, but the reason the leaves you feeling unsatisfied in the end is because the writers never connect any of the dots. The most you get are subtle hints towards these items but the finale tells you a story and then let's you decide what happens. This was an intentional move if you watch interviews with Chris Fedak who wrote it. Off screen, NBC told the writers they'd only get 13 episodes in S5 when they started producing it at which point they committed to this direction. Given they didn't have a ton of air time to work with between S5 E1 and S5 E13, I can get why they decided to go this route, I just don't think it was the right move. If instead of going the open ended route in the last 4 episodes, the writers instead connected the dots I mentioned above and provided a resolution arc (like was done in Chuck vs the Push Mix or Chuck vs the Cliffhanger a season before), I am confident fan reception would have been much more positive. Alternatively, if S5 E1 - S5 E13 stayed exactly the same, but we got a second half renewed through 22 - 24 episodes, I am sure people would sit much better with the plot of the finale. There's nothing about that four episode arc that is terrible, the mistake is just that it's the last thing that happens on the show. People are disappointed with the ending of Chuck not because the show wasn't going in a consistent direction, but because it just never crossed the finish line. These sort of open ended Hollywood endings are great for stirring up drama and getting an emotional response in the ratings, but good series finales they do not make.
Nahh. Although Casey is a huge dude and Morgan is small, it's still too much weight to just pick up like that with one hand. It was just for dramatic effect.
This is quite something since I am thinking that this would be Jack Byrne's reaction to Greg Focker as it reminds of Jack telling Greg in the airport interrogation room "Don't push it Focker." when Greg asked him if he and Pam could sleep in the same room.
Possibly the bravest thing Morgan has done on this show.
I mean, he entered a house with a bloodlusted tiger and he also electrocuted himself to save everyone. Say what you want, the guy has balls.
