Awesome! I just bought a little egg shaker and came up with a way of playing the frame drum with the shaker simultaneously. Put the Frame drum between your legs(freehand). Put the shaker in your right hand, holding it with your thumb and palm, keeping your fingers free to hit the drum. Then play the drum like you normally would and listen to the magic. Also you could try with a shaker in each hand. Great podcast!
OH!... Forgot. Please tell your grandfather thank you from me. I'm sure he enjoys his efforts with your drums as reward in and of itself. However, perhaps less obvious, he contributes to a better world.
