- What an amazing night at The Loft in Manchester for 'Beyond the Thunderdome'! I had the pleasure of DJing a set full of piano house, breakbeat, and rave anthems, and the vibes were unreal. The crowd was incredible-so many happy, smiling faces, dancing and loving the music. This video really captures the energy and atmosphere of the night. As an original raver starting in 1988, it's fantastic to see a crowd embracing these classics. I still love to drop these type of tracks and educate the new generation of the magnificence of such tunes! Great tunes never fail. That night looked like it was sure banging, you know your stuff. Excellent, this captures it just perfectly. The crossover from HipHop styles through the Warehouse vibe and Piano period and into the Rave……. Top work mate. Lived through it all from Two Tone to present day and this is a good mash-up, totally unrestricted by genre. The best period was 87-90 when you’d drop in the Hac and hear a bit of everything thrown together.

Man, when Tribute dropped in at one point I got goosebumps and a full on body rush 😍 looks like a good night.
I get married this year, no regrets at all about doing it as my future missus is a diamond and still a fox despite us both being close to 50, the only thing I'm pissed off about is I never earned enough dough to get Faydz to do the reception/mini rave once the oldies have gone home. We met at a Faydz gig 15 years ago. Ain't like I haven't had enough time lol.

Play this back at 0.90x speed (you'll need to add 'TH-cam Custom Speed' 1.9 etc). That will adjust for the time dilation you've experienced and dial you right back into the night you remember.
