Building the capacities of peace actors in the Niger Delta Region

Chioma Delphine has been a volunteer peace actor under the Partners for Peace (P4P) in the Niger Delta since 2014. An initiative started by PIND to support peace actors in the region and build their capacities to mitigate conflict in various communities.
PIND has created a network of over 11,000 volunteer peace actors in Nigeria's Niger Delta in the past decade. In 2022, PIND worked with 1,233 volunteer peace actors to mitigate community conflicts with skills they have gained from PIND. 163 conflicts were successfully mitigated in the 9 states in the region.
