Also the fact that he doesn't eat Kosher, doesn't go to the synagogue three times a day, doesn't rest on Shabbat, doesn't wear Kippa and Tzitzit gave it away that he is Jewish but a one that doesn't follow the Tora

As someone married to a Jewish man, but went to school with a lot of Jewish kids, i was really happy that he recognized that being Jewish doesn't have one look. I went to school with quite a few mix and Black Jews but later in life met a Asian Jewish family and some Arabic Jews. At the end of the day it's about how we treat each other
i have a similar story to the last dude. my dad’s jewish (from the “jewish side” of chicago) and he’s not religious but i still grew up around my religious extended family and participated in holidays. i personally have christian beliefs but still love and appreciate the jewish culture!

I live in Rogers Park and it is indeed Jew Central. I love it! It’s mostly Orthodox Jews and I am the local Shabbos Goyim. Need a stove turned off on Friday after sunset? Send one of the kids to my apartment to fetch me. Usually with, “we have something cool to show you” since they aren’t supposed to specifically ask me to do things for them on Shabbat. “My teen son left his TV on and we know you just LOVE to play with remotes, soooooooo….” Very creative ways to skirt around Hashem every so often.
Something that I recently learned is that Jiddisch (originating from a mix of Hebrew, German and Slavic words, phrases and grammar) isn’t the only language spoken by groups of Jews but that this is also the case for mixing e.g. Ladino which mixes old Spanish with Hebrew. As someone from Central Europe I was only familiar with Jiddisch so I just wanted to share that there are many more :)
The only thing I don’t like about this is how Ashkenazi Jewish stereotypes he’s going off of. My ex was Sephardic Jewish, which would totally not really know some of the references he was making. But great video!

When she first walked up I was like “oh absolutely she’s 100% Jewish” because she looks so much like the kids I played at the park with in the summers. She’s not Jewish. She’s Palestinian. I enjoyed this very much. It was very interesting. I have had Jewish friends since I was a small child. A friend's father even had a number tattoo tho then I had no idea what it was. It so saddens me that the Jewish people are facing so much ugly prejudice again.

Cool to see someone like the last guy breaking stereotypes. There are black Jewish people but not a lot, that's just true. In the country where my father is from, there is a small Jewish community. There are also black people that attend that synagogue. Fun fact, Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue is the oldest surviving synagogue in the Americas (continent) and last year my father and sister went there, since my sister was interest to learn about the history.
Cut didnt clarify at the start if the line-up was of the Jewish race, Jewish ethnicity and/or Jewish religion. Jacob was presented with a very tough challenge due to that lack of clarification.
Too bad there wasn't that larger Jewish diaspora representation. There's lots of Jewish Latinos that would have thrown a curve ball on who looks Jewish.
