@@ShikiBTS like if any of the idols competing with them for the best kpop category were there present at the day of the award show, or was it a case of none of the nominies were there on the day of the award show to receive the award. Cause that's one of the main accusations against the VMAs, that they will give the award to whoever shows up to receive it. So if none of the nominies were there they basically have no reason to not give the award to the actually most voted

However, they did win for Best PUSH and they performed, so I think the theory still holds true for the MTV VMAs & EMAs mostly being an attendance award. There are several others who also won and performed (e.g., Tyla-Best African Act, Peso Pluma-Best Latin, Benson Boone-Best New, etc.).

no offense, we all have our own priorities when it comes to the members. i myself am ot7 but i really wish rm & jhope would get the recognition so long overdue to them. it hurts seeing bts being nominated in so many categories in both major & minor awards in their solo era because that's when solo stans become obvious. as shiki said, if jimin wins then it's bangtan & army's triumph. if v wins, then congratulations. to each his own.
