I find it difficult to pick just one holiday since there is one in every season that brings me joy. Resurrection Sunday, 4th of July, Thanksgiving (just about anything fall...especially if I have enough small leaves to make it look like they are showering down,) and Christmas. Fall would be my favorite since my late husband proposed to me in October at a picnic beside a stream in the Great Smoky Mountains.

The washi added to those blue boxes, reminded me of the awnings my Grandmother had over her windows and took me right back to those summer gatherings at her house. Those big southern meals and swinging out over the lake. Thank you for bringing those memories to mind today.
