  • In This Video FireMaster 3 goes Head2Head with SuperFire 2 I put these two blow torches to the test to see if the cheaper torch can keep up with the best! Is the superfire 3 a DIY or Pro tool? What's a decent DIY blow torch? A budget Friendly Blow torch? DIYTTH

Thanks Paul, I knew it would be a flop as nobody searches for blow torches but I figured it would be useful to somebody

i would take that fire master over the other cuz its based off a turbo torch design in U.S . i have had my turbo torch for 30 years and it is way hotter than all ive used on non acetalyne. The reason your tip is getting hot is you dont have it high enough. due to the design it has to be cranked. if it is not squealing its not high enough. turbo torches have 3 turbos so to speak if you look down tip. If it doesnt then its not as good . the one you compared the cheaper one which is a bernzomatic in the U.S have five which tends to cool down the flame. try your test again with them cranked and put the light blue close to pipe and you should see a big difference in heat and speed. the cheap willl do the job easily no doubt but doing alot of copper the turbo is quicker and their claim of 20% more efficient is accurate. my turbo will melt solder with in 5 to 8 sec . i understand why you keep lower when using and im am not saying you are doing wrong all im saying is one is meant to be cranked

Wow is that right? I'll try it on a higher setting Monday and see how I get on. If I have been using it wrong all this time I'll have to make another video lol. Thank you Todd, I'll let you know 👍
