Oliver Queen is a man who once took a sword right through the chest, immediately followed by a huge-ass tumble off a mountain. He went out like a hero, but there's no way he's dead. Not yet, anyway.
@@jaedonlei304 That's most likely the doppelganger we saw this episode coming to save the day. They replaced real Black Canary with alternate version of herself from another earth, there's no reason they can't do that with Green Arrow.
Quit falling for it broski. You don't actually believe with all of their excellent writing that this is the last we'll be seeing of him before he really dies, do you? This 2046 Oliver says that Sara died on the Queen's Gambit; meaning she was never on Lian Yu, never returned to Star City, never became the original Canary, and never left with Rip.
The arrowverse producers said in an interview tonight that since they kinda gave away that oliver was gonna die in the crossover, they thought what if the twist was on his death was the timing of when it happened so that by killing him off first hour in rather than the arrow section of the crossover, it shows that nobody is safe in Crisis
I wonder how long Oliver will be dead. Out of curiosity I went back and watched all the Crisis trailers and was surprised to find that all the footage featuring Oliver was from this episode. That's not true for the other characters. This leads me to believe Oliver will be absent for a good portion of the Crisis.
If you go to Stephen Amell’s insta, on the 22nd of October he posted a video where he’s laying in a what looks to be a hospital bed in what I think is either Star Labs or the Legends ship. This is during Crisis so my theory is that if it is Earth-1 Oliver and not an Oliver from another earth then he is probably not dead at the end of the first episode of crisis. He’s still alive but barely and he’ll likely sit out most if not all of tomorrow’s episode. We’ll still see him he just won’t fight. Idk. I hope I’m right because Chainsaw is right. When Oliver dies at least all of team Arrow needs to be there and they have to make it like this huge scene with sad music and everything. The music this episode wasn’t that sad in my opinion and not everyone who needs to be there was there. And with all of the build up season 8 of Arrow has done that felt pretty underwhelming.🤷♂️
I think he is dead because all his shots in the trailer were all in episode 1. And it's corny to revive him only to kill him again. I think his death is the very reason the monitor has the group recruiting the other 7 legendary heroes from across different alternate universes. There presence and participation probably balances the scale. And I thinks it's great that he died here because now all the others have to step up now that they lost there leader. And i know that there is 3 more episodes of arrow but they could just be the aftermath of his sacrifice. Remember that one episode is a backdoor pilot for a spinoff for his daughter. So whatever form of oliver we see will most likely not be how we think it is.
Diggle and the rest of the team were probably not back from Lian Yu yet seeing Harbinger just took Oliver and Mia, and they showed the Oliver Mia scene again for the stupid people who don't watch ARROW
I feel like Oliver is going to somehow return when there seems to be no hope and then he kind of rallies the troops and turns the fight around. Because if that is how he dies dies, the writers didn't do Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen justice.
My thoughts Tomorrow Supegirl Dies Last Ep of 2019 The Flash Dies The ARROW one They get their asses kicked The Legends Everyone comes back but 90's Flash Kingdom Come Superman and Oliver Earth 1 die
Imo, VFX looked AMAZING by Network TV standards. Oliver's death scene, while still very emotional, was underwhelming. But I think he'll be back....only to die again.
i genuinely dont think hes dead- monitor said he didnt see him die like this it felt too soon and rushed and stephen posted a video filming the crossover like a month ago and he was in the waverider hooked to ivs. mannnn
I am not gonna scroll back to all the past comments but am I the only one who saw the actor who played Arthur in the Tick as a trivia show host in Earth-1? Lol.
I have a couple of gripes with the episode besides Oliver going out, for now at least! 1. They focused a lot on the characters in Supergirl. Not to mention a little bit of Superman getting undermined! 2. Going back to Star City 2046 felt very unnecessary and kinda tacked on. Baby Kent could've landed anywhere else instead! 3. Both Flash and Arrow have been leading up to Crisis, but parts of this episode still felt like preperation for Crisis? What was that whole thing with reusing footage from Arrow? These aren't major issues, but you kinda have certain standards for crossovers, especially from the most significant and biggest one!
4 episodes left of Crisis and 2 episodes left of Arrow afterwards, so not really worried about Oliver's death. It will be reversed somehow! Great start!
great start to the crossover great moments little cameos that we got so far emotional moments and a emotional death with Oliver Queen I had a feeling he would die but again I wasn’t expecting him to die this early in crisis.on twitter I didn’t say rip to arrow just yet because it seemed to early for Oliver to die but again wasn’t expecting it so we will seen
Of course they have to ask for Lena's help, she had saved the wolrd before and she is literally a big genius, Monitor asked for Lex's help.... LEX!! the biggest super's villian, Lena's ""villainy"" isn't even a baby compared with his villainy, besides, nobody left in this crisis, Lena saved 3 bilions of people, not bad for a "villian"
Yo everybody from earth-38 is coming to earth-1 thanos is about to hop over to the DC Tv shows for a quick second snap his fingers and then hop back to marvel
I have no idea what they're planning but they're planning something. No way they're killing Oliver off this early when his episode doesn't even air til January.
They have Superman, supergirl and the flash in the death scene but no one was like "Let's get him to the hospital?!?!!!?!?!" I was like "what is wrong with you?!?!?!?! He's still able to talk, he needs a nurse!!!!!!"
Pretty good so far. Burt Ward with a hilarious line! The classic Batman theme from the Keaton movies! RIP Oliver. Do I need to watch Black Lightning and Batwoman tomorrow night or just Batwoman, like is the Black Lightning episode tomorrow part of the crossover? Since Oliver is apparently supposed to die twice in this event, I think the second time will be permanent and Barry will either create a time remnant or a different Flash will be the one that dies. Also, I hope this event ends with everyone having to live on the same earth. Was that E16 Oliver the same one we saw back in season one of Legends? I bet Mia will be the Green Arrow in the Green Arrow and the Canaries show that's rumored to be in development. I wish they would have kept Nash and Pariah as two separate characters, but he still looks cool. My guess is that Barry's gonna go back in time and stop him from dying somehow.
PassionsQuietRage yes you need to see both episodes especially Black Lightning because the new episode ties in with Crisis because the red skies come to Freeland and it will show how Black Lightning gets involved in the Crisis since he makes his Arrowverse debut in the following episode of Crisis (which is the Flash hour).
Yeah, I mean, this is not how he dies. He dies killing the Anti-Monitor, even though this is a hero's death, this is no time for dying. He's getting his ass back into the fight soon. Besides the promos showed shots of him that we didn't have in here. And he has another scene in Star Labs soon.
So.. POSSIBLE SPOILER with Tom Ellis (from Lucifer) spotted on set a few months back. He just said he was in Vancouver for a friend's birthday but what if... Constantine takes Mia and Diggle (the three characters he was spotted with) to meet with Lucifer to make an agreement to get Oliver back.
To save everyone. Otherwise all universes, all the people you love, will perish." This seems to suggest that, rather than being just an early casualty of the Crisis, Oliver is to become The Spectre and have a crucial part to play in the final battle over the final two episodes
After barely already surviving one world ending disaster Argo should have had an evacuation plans in place. Last we saw at the end of season 3 they had a working Transmat portal, they could have got enough from Earth to build ships yet they only had one escape pod big enough for an infant. They need to do more than trade for Harun-El in season 3.
A reminder to all fans of DC, especially the animated series. In the animated series called Justice League, Batman, who had been seen in Batman Beyond at a much older age, was shown to have died during the Invasion of Earth in the first episodes of the series, defying all logic and breaking the hearts of everyone watching. Only later was it revealed that he had survived, shielded and hidden from the enemy, who also assumed his death, so that he could act freely from then on, being the means by which the invasion was defeated. Death, even when it is shown, does not mean its the end. He will likely be back when he is needed most.
Okay...now I get why Team Flash doesn't find out about Earth-2 until either tomorrow or Tuesday. Man that's crazy right there. I can only imagine the look on their faces when they find out that everybody on Earth-2 is supposedly dead...
Oliver isn’t dead. The synopsis for pt3 says he’s alive. Love that titans are officially in arrow verse & robin from 60’s batwoman & the nod to 1989 Batman
Wow they really just killed Oliver of just like that but I’m really happy supergirl will be on the same earth as everyone else now. I hope miss Martian and johns brother are still alive though. Can’t wait for stargirl to appear
Lex is alive, but seemingly only in "Monitor world". In a sense, I feel like he is still technically dead, but not really. We may see a similar thing here. In the intro to the Arrow, he always said "I must become something else". Well, there you go. He will be back, but he will have become "something else" (I mean, where was Felicity going at the end of season 7?).
Given how much it's been stressed that Oliver is a key player in Crisis, I HIGHLY doubt that he'll let him die now. He even said "this is not the death I foresaw", so he surely saw him die at a later time during a bigger battle where likely all of the Arrowverse was assembled against the Anti-Monitor, in a way that they would win., so my guess is even if it costs him "tipping the cosmic scales" once more, he'll resurrect Oliver.
Oliver hasn't had his last stand yet. He gotta get his ass back into the fight, because the only way he dies is shooting an arrow through the Anti-Monitor's eye. Besides there were shots in the trailers of Oliver, that weren't in this episode, so he's not dead, he just took some bad hits.
FINALLY!!! Enjoy!!! This took forever to edit!

This can’t be how Oliver dies. So anticlimactic and he can’t just die in the first episode!!
I wonder how long Oliver will be dead. Out of curiosity I went back and watched all the Crisis trailers and was surprised to find that all the footage featuring Oliver was from this episode. That's not true for the other characters. This leads me to believe Oliver will be absent for a good portion of the Crisis.
Great 1st start! I don't believe we have seen the last of Oliver; my Elseworlds theory about the bargain was confirmed. I'm excited for Part 2!
The ending !! Kara and Barry in tears broke my heart
I had the same reaction brother. An end of an era.
RIP Oliver Queen
WHERE WAS DIGGLE, DINAH, RENE, WILLIAM, LAUREL, THEA, AND ROY? WHEN HE DIED?!
Let's not forget Stephen filmed multiple scenes on the waverider for the crossover. He also filmed for the final episode of Arrow.
I have a question. How were you able to get the episode on your computer and then onto the video??
Diggle and the rest of the team were probably not back from Lian Yu yet seeing Harbinger just took Oliver and Mia,
and they showed the Oliver Mia scene again for the stupid people who don't watch ARROW
I feel like Oliver is going to somehow return when there seems to be no hope and then he kind of rallies the troops and turns the fight around. Because if that is how he dies dies, the writers didn't do Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen justice.
My thoughts
Tomorrow
Supegirl Dies
Last Ep of 2019 The Flash Dies
The ARROW one They get their asses kicked
The Legends Everyone comes back but 90's Flash Kingdom Come Superman and Oliver Earth 1 die
Imo Oliver death was so shit . 😞
Plus point : not too much rushed like elseworld . Vfx looks good for tv
ARYAN WAYNE he’s coming back next episode
@@xalki1674 I really hope . But I think he will become Spectre
ARYAN WAYNE nah everyone already knew he died twice he comes back and dies again
ARYAN WAYNE someone has already been cast as the spectre
Imo, VFX looked AMAZING by Network TV standards. Oliver's death scene, while still very emotional, was underwhelming. But I think he'll be back....only to die again.
So is titans season 3 cancelled with them dead in crisis will they explain it ever??
I mean I guess they could technically be Titans from another earth and not the same Titans that people watch on the DCU.
He comes back! Loll don’t worry 😂 he wouldn’t die in super girl he has to die in his
And there’s images and scenes from the trailer where he’s back
i genuinely dont think hes dead- monitor said he didnt see him die like this
it felt too soon and rushed
and stephen posted a video filming the crossover like a month ago and he was in the waverider hooked to ivs.
mannnn
Will Wheaton from Star Trek played the doomsday alarmist that Kara saved at the beginning.
I am not gonna scroll back to all the past comments but am I the only one who saw the actor who played Arthur in the Tick as a trivia show host in Earth-1? Lol.
I haven’t watched any of these shows in years, just watching for the cameos.
I completely agree with you about Oliver's death
if he is really dead they gave him such a terrible send off
Oh man i was not ready for that death that was so quick R.I.P green arrow? 😟
great start to the crossover great moments little cameos that we got so far emotional moments and a emotional death with Oliver Queen I had a feeling he would die but again I wasn’t expecting him to die this early in crisis.on twitter I didn’t say rip to arrow just yet because it seemed to early for Oliver to die but again wasn’t expecting it so we will seen
I love how even Ghost was invested in it. :)
I have no idea what they're planning but they're planning something. No way they're killing Oliver off this early when his episode doesn't even air til January.
I didn't see oliver death to come so fast that definitely caught me off guard am excited to see kevin conroy crises appearance tonight
If you read the synopsis for episode 3. In the synopsis it mentions oliver and diggle are referenced in it.
They have Superman, supergirl and the flash in the death scene but no one was like "Let's get him to the hospital?!?!!!?!?!"
I was like "what is wrong with you?!?!?!?! He's still able to talk, he needs a nurse!!!!!!"
I cried a lot after the episode. I didn’t want him to go so soon. Damn episode 1.
I love all your reaction uploads, your reactions are just amazing
Only batwoman
Barry will not travel back in time FFS
He would screew timeline
Well someone has to travel back and change things, unless Monitor does it
PassionsQuietRage yes you need to see both episodes especially Black Lightning because the new episode ties in with Crisis because the red skies come to Freeland and it will show how Black Lightning gets involved in the Crisis since he makes his Arrowverse debut in the following episode of Crisis (which is the Flash hour).
They’ve spoiled his return in the 3rd ep synopsis!
But they didn’t say which Oliver they just said “Oliver” so idk
Spectacular episode aside from the ending. OLIVER WILL RETURN!
Theory as to how Oliver survives: what if he made a time remnant during Elseworlds that survived
That was wil Wheaton from Star Trek TNG at start
I had a lot of the same feelings! Oliver can’t go out like that....
They said in the after show that everyone knew Ollie was going to die, so the only thing they could surprise people with was when he died.
As to where the Arrow people are they are on the boat from Lyan Yu. Its been a very short time from when the Arrow ep. ended.
MacPhal1 that’s a pretty lame excuse for an underwhelming death scene if you ask me. Earth 1 Oliver deserved better imho.
HERE. WE. GO! Lets see what you got!
