In this video : In this series, we take the maximum number of Defense allowed in game. We have chosen X-Bow and Scattershot this time. These two Defenses are most valuable and tough. X-Bow works like a turret while Scattershot is the most powerful Defense among all Defenses which does an area splash type damage. We have taken 4 max level X-Bows and 2 Scattershots for this battle.
X-Bow : The X-Bow is a single target, rapid-firing turret. It can be configured to two modes - Ground Mode, where it can only target ground troops at a 14 tile range, or Ground and Air, where it can target both ground and air units at an 11 tile range.
Scattershot : The Scattershot is a splash damage defense that has very high damage per second. The Scattershot's attacks have a cone-shaped area of effect. Troops that are behind the initial target in a 90° cone shape will take splash damage and troops next to or in front of the target will be unharmed. The splash damage has a falloff effect and decreases with distance, it can affect troops 1-5 tiles away from the initial target.
I use Adobe Premiere Pro CC for video editing and Adobe Photoshop CC to make thumbnail.

What I informed:
X-Bow: Good for taking out things with tons of HP, Bad with rushes.
ScatterShot: Good for taking out rushes, and mid HP troops, useless when something is near it.
You just put them together, 2 xbow and a scatter, this will be a good idea latter when i will be hdv 13
You also forgot that x-bow provides a constant damage output throughout the base due to its large attack radius and also snipes any troop from far away like flame slinger

Well, the X-bow is good for spraying tanky troops and the scattershot wipes out multiple weak troops. Both defenses are good depending on the situation.
