I've seen people running surprise attack instead of void strike, any reasons why void strike is better to you? I'm trying to improve in pvp. Either way I'll try void strike, because that wind cut into void strike into moonlight sonic combo looks nasty.
I'm only high bronze but I really liked surprise attack because it has way more utility. The ability casts so quickly that you can use it for disengage and engaging. The ability also has decent range. Void strike provides way more damage, and combos far better. Keeping the enemy in the air for an extra second really allows your team to follow up. I was winning a lot at first, but then started to lose. I realized I was being too aggressive as a DB. Good positioning, your mobility skills, and upper should already provide you almost the same utility that surprise attack does.
so i'm a league player and tested lost ark pvp for some days now. i'm a little sad that the "ranked" pvp only involves 3vs3 deathmatch because i really liked the team 3v3 elemination mode (i think it relies more on individual skill than the chaotic 3v3 deathmatch) when i played enough games to access ranked pvp mode, i had great games and really enjoyed the 1v1 combat! staying alive with 20% hp outplaying your next opponent , chipping away 50% of the final opponent feeled so incredible! leaning back and leaving the rest to your teamates. it feels good and i enjoyed it. so since there is no other possible ranked pvp i want to get league like settings for a 3v3 teamfight. Is there a way to change the camera-settings? lost ark has that locked camera with your character at the center but i want it like league. how can i change it to unlockes camera? i think that would help me so much with awareness and familiar movement.
The game isn't balanced around 1v1. Some classes clearly destroy others in ways that makes certain matchups unbalanced unless the advantaged player makes a huge blunder. For example, Sorcs counter most melee classes in a 1v1 situation, and there is little that most of the melee classes can do about it.

Seriously, if you at a Punishing Strike, which has a 0.5 second wind-up, when you weren't CC'ed, that's your fault. The people who are serious about PvP frequently remark how balanced the game is. Even the weaker classes, like Sharpshooter and Scrapper, have their place in the right comps. Perhaps you should consider that the high skill-cap of Lost Ark's PvP system isn't something you could master -- or even become passably good at -- in 5 games. I've been playing for over a month now and I'm still really bad at it. It plays more like a fighting game (like Street Fighter or Guilty Gear) than traditional MMO PvP.

DeathBlade is the counter to all melee class at the moment in NA/EU, that is the reason of why is S tier in many tier list, the only thing that you need to do is to bait then wait their superarmor shit to then do something.. you can't do anything as a melee to a DeathBlase since they can interrupt your engage with a superamor skill that has a good hit box. Also Scrapper only have 2 Superarmor (Earthquake and Dragon Descent) but the thing that makes DeathBlade stronger is that Deathblade can do the combos safer than Scrapper or other melee classes ... well Berzerk can do the same thing but it is slower and easier to read
During PvE encounters, Dark Axel is ALWAYS immune to attacks on the ground, so its pretty annoying when I Dark Axel away from Wardancer/Strikers jumps and they freeze me mid-air like at 7:47

@@JaeJae95 It's not really about being delusional, in EUW, being out of bronze means you're in the top 200 of the whole region. It's just that there isn't much of a spread, you have very good people and terrible players within 100 MMR. It's factually very hard to climb because everyone is just in bronze right now, you have to be noticeably better than the rest of the population to go to the actual rank you would deserve. Hopefully with time it gets sorted :)

Some people had the same start as you, then went back down to 1400 or under :) It's wildly unreliable, because you can get any type of skill level in bronze right now, because there isn't a real MMR spread yet.
@@Elwendryll sry but 70% win rate will go up and well no point in pvping in EUW when EUC is way more populated, 1830 was last on ladder today and im 110 on my server (the most populated)

@@ufukakkoyun6969 yup, I struggle like shit on my striker. Jump onto death blade and I’m 900k damage, killing people with half a rotation. And gunslinger; though hard to play, is way too strong. Two abilities has dealt literaly 70% of my health in a recent match. It’s like sorcerer. Ranged classes are too tanky, too mobile and too damn risk free. A lot of that counts for PVe too.

pvp so niche... 30k west ranked out of 320k steam players and a massive following around pvp clips with whopping 100-10k views... its funny and sad that it died as quick as it came to be
they should put 3v3 but no solo(random), so you can queue with as 3 this will help the pvp szene a ton. Game already has his Meta DB, Mage and Gunslinger.

Is there a certain rhyme or reason why your abilities are in the order they are in? Is it so it's easier to see Q W E combo?
it's more about muscle memory than every other thing, combos are situational and the keyboard order doesn't matter that much
