Lake Point Tower is actually not Y shaped, it is fidget-spinner shaped.

I guess I'll have to bully you for more Chicago building content, then! Great jab an Anish Kapoor. I would have mentioned Wrigley Field as well, but that might stretch the definition of building. What, in your opinion, is the best looking neighborhood of Chicago?

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah, unfortunately, Wrigley Field isn’t tall enough, but it’s still a really cool place. I’ll admit, the Loop is my favorite neighborhood because of the cool skyscrapers, but it obviously is kind of stretch as a neighborhood. I’d also go with Chinatown. It’s place I love to visit whenever I get the chance, and the food is spectacular

No need for a 200k rug when Sheffield already provides the utmost luxury !

AON center should be higher in my opinion. When i was first time in chicago it was my favourite :D Also its similar to twin tower which was very iconic

Nice video, I hope you'll make similar videos in the future. I am curious how you would rank the New York buildings or US in general or maybe even north America.

Thank you so much! I know I definitely will rank the New York skyscrapers at some point, although it’ll certainly be a long video!

One that I like that isn't tall enough for the list is the Carbide & Carbon Building, which has been a few different hotels in this century.

Nice video... just as it is all subjective and not fully on significance of design etc....
Did I miss including - One South Wacker? I always admired that building built in the 80s post -modern movement from just a box. Building uses some mirror glass for some additional effects designed by famed German Chicago architect Helmut Jahn... I always liked it and is over 500 ft to clearly count that just stands out if you see it on Wacker Dr across from the Civic Opera House building.
Accenture Tower (Ogilvie Transportation Center) I like more also higher - far from what could have been a glass box... lots of texture and its post-moderism works for me... just needed a more visible location.... though its purpose for all the trains below had to be there taking into effect the sleek streamliners trains of the mid-20th century in its design that added cost I am sure.
Chase building and far from a glass box so many 60s buildings were going to. Just still like its swooping design with its large sunken plaza that adds to the Loop (few buildings will ever get again by cost and NYC probably never). Being all clad in granite .... a bit brutalist just not concrete so in a good way to me. I always liked the way Chicago added granite (especially if shiny) touches to even 2000s buildings over just glass exteriors. It adds that touch of being more high-end as even some on N Michigan Ave and adds a level of wealth vs all glass.
One Prudential tower.... lower for sure.. a dull box to me that only the spire gives it anything with the name slapped on...also would rather your fav 2 Prudential not be blocked by its brutal body. Just a example of a box not all glass... still a box that is sort of brutalist. In fact I would have cut this building off the list and added One South Wacker.
On the ION Center (originally a glory tower when Big Oil did it as the Standard Oil building of Indiana then). Definitely higher for me for any list. If a building was a blue-eyed blond Thor.... this building would be it. Definitely a masculine phallic of a building clad in white granite and is just too iconic adding intensely to skyline views from Millennium/Grant Park... I am partial to white buildings also and why it stands out ... but in a good way to me. Hope they do add a observation deck and a exterior elevator... It would surely gain recognition by name seems indefinitely on hold?
I COULD NOT RESIST MYSELF sorry for the long post

Mies van der Rohe is rolling over in his grave. I kind of like the cold ivory tower feel of the Standard Oil Building (aka Aon). I also like the street level of the Daley Center with the open glass ground floor and the way the rust matches the Picasso, which I still think is cooler than the Bean (aka Beanis).
