- TO THIS VERY DAY - I have a difficult time showing how massive this "Toy" MONSTER TRUCK is.. There is no way for me to translate the presence this giant behemoth gives off as an aura through your viewing screen. It's the true meaning of "BEAST". In this film, I put it beside a Traxxas X-MAXX (Full Size) .. and you can clearly see there is a MASSIVE difference in size. I kinda wanted to drive over it.. or at least jump it!! Epic shots.
I wanted to "improve" the look of my Raminator, and bring some light to a rather dreary day. I had an old light bar from Rigid Industries that fit perfectly on top. In fact, I was even able to fabricate a mount for either side and use the factory screw holes from Primal RC in the Roof Cage!
This is the largest PRODUCTION (meaning ready to purchase), Monster truck mass made, to date. Primal RC is the company that makes this phenomenal engineering marvel. This is the second video I have made since I have got the truck. I have a total of 4 tanks through it.. .. and I am running a 30:1 Gas to Oil ratio.. with Castrol 927 as the additive.
This truck retails for $2950 USD, and comes ready to run with EVERYTHING you need but a battery and fuel. I have not modified this truck from stock, other than adjusting the HIGH needle to lean out the engine a bit.
This unique and one of a kind build is the result of 5 years of imagination through to realization! "Dan D", the Principle founder of the Primal RC company and brand - was and still is - a HUGE FAN of the classic Tamiya Clodbuster MONSTER TRUCKS! He always imagined and dreamed about what it would be like to have a HUGE VERSION of that classic beauty. Two years of building a prototype.. and an additional 3 years of ideation and end product production.. DAN engineered every kids DREAM! This solid axle design can go over anything. All torque, and all Power - all the time.
My good friend EVERETT has come by to check out this MASSIVE MACHINE.. and gives me a hand at assembling it and starting it for the first time. We are both struck by the sheer size of it - and the camera does it no justice. Its a definite "MUST SEE TO BELIEVE" kind of Radio Control Monstrosity!

I was at primal a few days ago picked me up a new 30.5cc baja 5b release from rovan, i told dan i want to build the first ever baja "max" 5bsr and behold he got a custom made sand rail cage for me with baja light setup looks killer! Such a large machine. Ate the XMaxx for lunch and dinner. I love how when the back axle hits the XMaxx it jumps right over it. Like you stated true basher, Monster Truck Style! Ate the scale truck course too.

Well that wasn't my intention. I was having a rough day and that video made me laugh and smile because I can totally imagine how much fun it would be to drive that thing around. I'm a nerdy gearhead at heart and my family and I enjoy these RC machines in our own life as well as seeing other people have fun with them. Aaron just does a great job of sharing his having fun with this hobby. That's just my opinion though. Every hobby out there has people who enjoy watching others have fun with it.

Yes.. like every engine we have ever had on the show.. it just takes multiple tanks of fuel and tuning to wake them up. Everett and I try to tell people.. but they just dont understand that "out of the box" is like 60% speed.. lol.. Over the next 5-6 tanks.. increase by 40%
RCSparks Studio yeah I never understood everyone saying it was so slow. It’s like everything break it in and then say that. Primal Rc is 10 minutes from my house and when their running these things in the parking lot I wouldn’t like to get hit with something so slow lol

The XMAXX is frigged from the Mega Mud Run we did. I blew 3 tires and blew up the truck for that video.. Lol. Its only a shell of what it used to be..
