- This is a performance by the graduating class of Kahuku High School 2015. The senior song/dance medley is a 20 year tradition that is performed by the seniors during the graduation ceremony. Kahuku High School is located on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.

um.... this a yearly tradition and all eyes are on the grads! We wouldn't want people interrupting the Seniors' performances that my family taught within 2 days. BriezzyT I understand, but this is expected every year. and there's Cheerfest during our football homecoming week where all the grades compete with their own combination of cheers, then there's Songfest where each grade competes with their medley of songs & dances according to the theme that is chosen that year. So yeah, this is nothing new to the audience as we all grew up with this type of performances. Every year is AMAZING!! Standing ovations aren't very popular in Hawaii anyway. lol! But if they showed the crowd that were sitting up in the stands I'm sure you'd see the audience cheering for the graduates, but the lower level is meant to the older folks who can't go up the stairs since there are no elevators in this place. Just a sign of respect for our elders I guess and the people up in front of the stage are reserved for the Hawaii Department of Education staff.They come every year because our graduation is so different from the other schools. so yeah, the video doesn't show the entire audience in the whole building.

Now that is school spirit! These kids will remember this day forever. All I remember from my high school graduation is how boring the speeches were.

It's not even how great the dance moves are or how in sync they all try to be. It's the fact that they're all having so much fun on stage that makes this perfect. Go Hawaii!

Best graduation ceremony ever... I swear I just forgot my graduation and lived theirs. It is amazing to see a big group of successful teenagers come together and do something this great I know my high school would have just wanted to get it over with. Im still just in awe made my whole day better

Watching this make want to stay a child because all there stuff thy hav done in the past when they were little they like did lots of little kid stuff. They also would of watched kid movies or cartoons . This is really sad to watch because they went from prep to year 12. I am so proud of all of those kids they derserve to get a really big present and that is love from every one who os there . Congatulations on your graduation . Im proud of all you great work . 😊☺😊☺

this school has been doing graduation like this for many years. Since before the internet. The students plan this all themselves and it is always a highlight of the graduation. 2 of my children and many nieces and nephews are graduates of Kahuku.
