from your profile picture i think your muslim...and you said you wont skip the liquor?? its forbidden for a muslim to drink it or have it in their food...
Lovely video and the dessert looks fantastic! Do you have any more videos on gluten free ideas? I love how this is GF tiramisu. I will definitely give his one a go 👍🏻
He used a small amount of Cointreau over a large cake. A slice would probably be no more than 1-3% ABV. How many people do you know get drunk from eating desserts with alcohol in them?
I am FULLY Christmased already. Spending time creating and uploading Christmas story content for my children’s channel @RainyDayBookshelf I am happily being sidetracked and absorbed by videos like this and making lists of “to do” cooking and baking. Have already invited a group of people to a Christmas Tea Party as an excuse to make a table full of festive treats ❤🎅🏻☃️🎄🎁⭐️❤
This is a cake... Why calling it something it is not? Look Jamie keep it simple. The main work usually lady fingers (cookie soakes in a simple syrup coffee flavor) if make from scratch. Quit adding stuff doesn't need be in it orange, chocolate and ricotta is not needed. Call it like it is a bad version of a Black forest cake.
This is not a classic tiramisu…. This is not a tiramisu in any way at all. It’s not because you use similar or the same ingredients that it’s the same dish. There’s no baking in a tiramisu, there are layers, the flavours develop with time and rest. The mascarpone is mixed with the yolks and later the whites to get a rich yet light cream. And the cake layers are made with dry cookies (generally savoyardi), because they will absorb the right amount of coffee and marry it perfectly with the light cream. What you made is a heavy lump of separate flavours that won’t get to absorb and meet each other, and will be killed anyway by the cream you splattered on the top. And I will be pedantic, but calling Lindt chocolate “good quality” must be a joke. It’s not bad, but it’s nowhere near the quality you get from a regular dark chocolate for baking purposes that also costs way less. The worse in all this is the hubris of saying your recipe brings tiramisu to new heights. Please stop insulting every cuisine you come across
Ricotta and the way this is put together, without ladyfingers..... This is not a Tiramisu, it is an Oliver freak creation.... It takes an English TV Chef to make Italian food, uneatable.
Oh, sweetie, you know when grown-ups talk to babies like this, it's because they think babies don’t understand big words yet! They want to make sure everything is super simple so you can understand easily. But you're growing up, and soon you'll understand all the big words too, just like the grown-ups! Isn’t that exciting?
Thank you for sharing you Channel 4 television episodes freely with us :) . Ricotta, rawwrrr! lol.
Super delicious 😋 looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing ❤
A lot better than Gordon versions of italian recipes. Jamie is a real cooker.
Finally! No ladyfingers!! Thank you, Jamie!! 🙏🥰
Hoy toca hacerlo para mañana🎉
He’s the cutest
This recipe is exactly for me, I am a chocoholic😍
Just EPIC!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
Ooo adding cherries is a nice touch, I love cherries!
Me, my spoon and my jar of chocolate spread already know that decadent deserts can be simple
I want this right now.
Thank you for this tiramisu, I love chocolate.❤️
I was tired of all this 5 ingredient versions. I am glad i discovered much simpler 48 ingredient version.
😂
😂
😂😂
😂😂😂
😂
Поистине Куантро это песня🥳🥳🥳Самый главновкусный ингредиент☝️😋😋😋🔥🔥🔥💕💕💕Спасибо!
I like using sponge finger biscuits for the base layers and bacardi rum or coconut essence and decaf coffee for the kids.
You could also use some good rum instead of bacardi. Old rum for example will give cane sugar, caramel flavours.
How delicious 😋
Wow!😋😍
You are exceptional 😌
Love how Jamie said, "but this, is just amped up" 🤩
Best desert ever...
💯
No need for eggs.
Que rico Jamie!!! En lugar de vainillas una masita de chocolate!! 😊
Looks delicious!
Would love to see more flourless and low carb recipes (I replace sugar with Xylitol for low carb).
I notice the dog is egg-white and chocolate colored too! :)

i'm definitely going to try this dessert!!!😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤 and i won't skip the liquor at all so it can be so authentic with the recipe❤
from your profile picture i think your muslim...and you said you wont skip the liquor?? its forbidden for a muslim to drink it or have it in their food...
Das ist ne Bombe, schmeckt auch so.
Lovely video and the dessert looks fantastic! Do you have any more videos on gluten free ideas? I love how this is GF tiramisu. I will definitely give his one a go 👍🏻
The base is a traditional chocolate mousse, but cooked! Very surprising! Need to give it a try, but with half the amount...
lol not even half, this should be done with 1/5 the amount if you dont want a heart attack
Oh so yummy 🍫🥮thank you Jamie 🍒💙🌟💙🌟
I'm frm Indonesia 🇮🇩 and i love your dessert especially abt chocolate 🤤😄
Thank you!
Need more of Jamie's desserts.
Chef Oliver is a BEAST! Mascarponé Cheese is genius. Chef teaches to be creative and unorthodoxed....change tradition
Huh? Mascarpone IS a traditional ingredient in Tiramisu. Not exactly groundbreaking
🎉 super pudding recipe
İstanbuldan selam! Yarın bunu yapacağım, tarif için teşekkürler
It looks so yummy 😋 and I don't need to be afraid of raw eggs! I will definitely try it! Thank you Jamie 😊
TIRAMISU CAKE SOUND UP 😎🥤🥤💥💥💥💥💥
I‘m so hungry now 😂
looks lush give me a bit please 🤣🤣😎
I do love Jamie Oliver and maybe it’s because I’m northern but does anyone else think he says chocolate weird?
YUM YUM
1:46 why chefs don’t use electrical whiskers
Very nice 😋 No olive oil Jamie? 😁
Yum
did you say expresso?
Is the background music supposed to be so loud? Couldn't hear Jamie very well at times.
Lovely dessert though, looks yummy.
Yummy
This looks delicious ❤ I am not a fan of alcohol. Wonder if omitting it will be fine…
My kids can’t have flour but coffee and liqueur it’s fine 😅
If your kids aren't growing up on a diet of coffee and Cointreau then you're doing something wrong
He used a small amount of Cointreau over a large cake. A slice would probably be no more than 1-3% ABV.
How many people do you know get drunk from eating desserts with alcohol in them?
Can i make it without the cointreau? Any substitute for it, jamie?
Any booze you like!
OMG can you send me that recipe? I am Italian and this looks amazing
Where can I get the plates that the tiramisu was served on please?
I love your tamizue it's lovely thankyou for sharing

I think this is a mixture of "mousse au chocolat and tiramisu" without biscuits...
This looks amazing, I thought you were doing bbq recipes soon
I love you jamie i wish you could it for me ❤❤❤
Merci
What can be used besides the alcohol can anyone suggest or tell me? Can i make it without it and just use the espresso?
Could you make this night before and serve next day??
Vanilla extract instead of paste?
Are we just going to ignore the “expresso” ..??
OK kids...time for bed now!
My goooooooood🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🧁
Where's the recipe. Looks amazing ❤❤❤
@@zigzagpaz thanks a lot!
Where are the biscuit layers ? Cheers from Canada
😊💯💯💯💯👍
Master
What could you add instead of coffee? We have a family member who doesn’t like coffee 😢
Nothing ! It’s tiramisu.
"I've got two children who can't have flour." ...proceeds to pour in Cointreau. Nice. :)
Смакота!!!
Wow, those are some real nutritious eggs, 🥚 nothing like American eggs very yellow, & no nutrients. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe. ♡
Probably home grown!
But can you do a fried rice Jamie?
Incredible dessert, but can’t be called Tiramisù.
What to do if you don't want to use alcohol?
You can just skip it! Liquor is generally optional in tiramisu :)
I like to use coconut essence and decaf coffee when serving to kids or people who don't want alcohol/caffeine.
In this case, the alcohol is baked out of it. It's just the flavour that's left.
Then, it is not a tiramisu.
The alcohol does nothing. it the coffee taste that makes it.
So your kids can't have flour but can have liquor?
“This is not tiramisu; tiramisu is not baked, so you shouldn’t call it tiramisu, you should give it another name.”
Greetings FROM-ITALY
“This is not your classic tiramisu…”
It’s not even a tiramisu! 🤷♂️
Haiyaa
That is not tiramisu...

Recipe evolves. Let it go...
not whipping the mascarpone?!? 🤢
Chocolate........not chocklit 😂
This is a chocolate pudding. It's not a tiramisu.
how old are his children if he’s giving them tiramisu soaked in Cointreau and espresso?
I think he is capable of looking out for his own children it's called common sense !
it is a beautiful dessert but please don't call it tiramisu
I wonder if the children who can’t eat flour can consume alcohol
The drums competes with your voice and recipe. Difficult to follow.
،😍
In Canada this recipe will make u broke
Orange and coffee weird!

First time that I disliked 1 of Jamie's videos.

Why does this man speak to us as though we're infants?
Because not everyone can cook and understand cooking terms.
Oh, sweetie, you know when grown-ups talk to babies like this, it's because they think babies don’t understand big words yet! @@tedchirvasiu I'm embarrassed for you there, pal. Excruciatingly weak banter
