You're talking about the reader I presume. The Reader and Desmond are voiced by Nolan North. Also when Desmond released Juno his mind was put into "The Grey". The grey is like an afterlife made by the ISU. Where sometime during his time in the grey he became a being of light now he and Layla are trying to find a future where humanity survives the cataclysms.
