I've watched for years in silence. I've watched you grow into a woman, a mother, a businesswoman, a friend, a sister, a daughter, and an amazing human being. I adore all of your soaps, but mostly, I adore you and your beautiful family. I wanted to take the time to finally say hello, you're amazing, and thank you! You've always felt like a long-distance friend, not just another internet personality. I truly love you, and I'm grateful so many get to enjoy having you in their lives ❤ thank you for being an amazing light in a sometimes very dim world. 🥰
I couldn’t agree more! She is my comfort channel and has really sparked a lot of inner creativity inspiration for me and also to just be purely myself and see joy in little things. I also fall asleep to her videos every night hahah, she’s the best!
When we were stationed in Hawaii with the Army, I fell in love with the people there. They are so kid friendly and encouraging to young parents. They always complimented us on our wonderful children who were so well behaved. Thanks for reminding me of these precious memories and people
So happy to see your face again, Katie!! My 3 year old son and I LOVE the aesthetic of bomb pops (he is VERY obsessed with America), so I'm stoked to see this soap!!
Do you remember when M&Ms introduced the blue one and it was the coolest thing even though it was the exact same flavor? Blue has been my favorite color for a long time so it was a defining moment in my childhood. It's so interesting the different perspective you get from living in a different state. I just moved to North Texas (specifically Plano) last summer from Los Angeles and I thought everyone here was so nice and there was so little trash compared to where I came from. I love the little interactions I have with grocery store employees here, instead of them looking like they hate their lives and hardly saying a word. Definitely a much better vibe here.
I grew up in minimalism because we were poor in Eastern Europe, so I have the same enthusiasm for yeehaw culture that you do for Hawaiian LOL. My fav icecream... hmm. Back then, those came from a spoon and placed into cones, we didn't have any other kind, but a blueberry+chocolate combo was my usual choice :)
Blueberry + chocolate reminds me of these candies that were blueberry & acai berry flavored jellies covered in chocolate. I really liked those. So I can imagine the ice cream combo would be good.
5:30 island life is the best. Getting things to an island is harder so you really have to think about what you are bringing into your home. Seeing bamboo growing all around my home makes me appreciate how versatile it is. I use it for pretty much everything. Bamboo towel, bamboo sheets, bamboo paper towels, bamboo razors, bamboo flossers, ect. I love my piece of paradise and want to keep it beautiful. Being removed from the hustle and bustle of huge cities with so much beauty around you just makes life nicer and you nicer to those around you. At least, that’s how I feel.
Summer to me is the sound of cicadas, endless cartoons, playing outside and picking blackberries, those body sprays that came in peach and gummi bear "flavors", swimming in the river, Kool-Aid, sandwiches on a paper towel, sunburn in the sandy hot car and then a sleepless night, ugh! and making up silly games with my three siblings where someone usually got hurt and tattled. ❤
Hey! I just wanted to note that I liked the visualisation of the colour names you used in each bucket, I could follow along much easier with my ADHD 😅 For my taste you could leave in 2 or 3 extra seconds for when the colours are being blended in, I like that part a lot 🤩 ❤
Italian ices were my favorite. Yes, I remember the flavor of the wood me than the ice, but still my favorite. Also, the ice pops without stick. Blue and pink are my favorites.
Currently in surgery recovery (at home thank goodness) and your amazing vibes were so very needed today!! Love you Katie, thanks for sharing your amazingness and good vibes with us! You truly do make a huge difference in so many of our lives❤
This is so cute and summer festive! My favorite childhood cold treat was orange push pops, my brother and I LOVED them and would get them all the time, even when "better" treats were offered from like ice cream trucks and stuff!
I'm so glad that you had the experience you did in Kauai. Allowing yourself to thrive with slow living, minimalism, and an appreciation for how we are all interconnected and interdependent can be really freeing. Visiting the islands might have started my journey, but time in Fiji and moving to the Pacific Northwest turned me into what a friend lovingly refers to as a "tree-hugging eco-commie." Luckily, in the last 30 years, it's gotten a lot easier to adopt that lifestyle. I can get bamboo clothes and household paper products in many places, along with compostable, biodegradable kitchen bags and other ways to decrease my carbon footprint and environmental impact. I've been very excited that you have eco-glitter and use oils that don't destroy the environment or the indigenous tribes that live where these ingredients originate. Big hugs and kudos to you!
I want to get my house less cluttered and full of junk too! We’ve done a few rounds of “we’re cleaning this room” and I’m about 26 seconds from renting one of those giant dumpsters and clearing it all out! 🤪 This soap is absolutely gorgeous! NGL I thought when you grabbed the hanger tool “Nnoooo your perfect layers!!! Don’t do it!!” But it came out gorgeously!! Well done, my dear!
I used to like the Scribblers popsicles that look like crayons. Though I was more of an ice cream kid than a popsicle kid. The soap is gorgeous, I think I might have to get myself one of these
Love to hear your thoughts on living style. The sheer size of Texas compared to a small island is staggering to think about. When you think about how much it costs to get things shipped to the islands, it's crazy. So minimalism is for sure the way to go just for cost.
I look forward to your videos so much! They're so happy and always make me feel better. One of the things I really love about your company is your goal for sustainability by using eco-friendly products.
For all my UK people, Calippo Shots were THE BEST ice lolly, so sad/annoyed they were discontinued!! They were these little strawberry and lemon flavor frozen balls (about the size of the balls that make up polystyrene). I vividly remember going for bike rides with my parents and stopping at the news agents on the way back to get an ice lolly and this was pretty much always my choice 🥰
Katie, I adored this video and sentiments and I think this soap is one of my favorites that you’ve made. Thank you for sharing your sweet personality and talent.
My daughter did the same down sizing about ur age too and she went to a 'capsule wardrobe' as well as many other types of minimalist practices. That particular clothing idea was and still is her fav and most functional downsize.
I lived in Indonesia for three years and I needed much less stuff there because I didn't need any winter things! Winter clothes take up so much space! Especially if you live in the Midwest where winter is half the year. I owned like 10 pairs of socks in Indonesia and they were all those cute little ones that barely touch the ankle. Now I have to have two drawer fulls of just boot socks. And don't get me started on winter outer gear. Tubs of items in my apartment stand useless for half the year but are so necessary. I guess what I am trying to say is, if you live in a colder climate, don't think you can downsize the same as someone in a warm climate: our minimalism doesn't look the same as theirs.
I am a forty-two-year-old mother of cats and I am so frustrated with how much litter there is my small-town particularly of recyclables I mean trash all over somebody's going to get that but the recycling I made a point of carrying a plastic grocery bag with me and my pocket just about everywhere now so in case I see recyclables actually if there's one area in my neighborhood with a sort of public meeting place where you can throw birthday parties in whatever there are three recycling bins there yet I still see almost everyday about three plastic bottles just laying near the picnic table like twenty or thirty feet away from the recycling bin and maybe 10 away from the trashcan
What a bummer that people in your community treat the space like that. I love that you care so much to try to make a difference, and I hope there are more people who will join you!
@@sabrinanelsen8660 I started doing it cuz I was like I'm frustrated and I'm already walking around the neighborhood playing Pokémon Go so why not carry a bag and pick up stuff as I go? One time there was someone cutting the grass at the community building and he actually stopped the mower and talk to me. I was like oh god what did I do and he's like oh so you're the one who's been picking up that stuff and I was like yeah he was like it used to be me. I started to notice that there wasn't as much anymore and I was like yeah. Sorry people aren't behaving themselves. I just started picking up after them too
My 5 1/2 year old son wanted to watch a video on how to make soap, so of course I thought of this delightful channel and- Boom! Here we are. He wanted to leave a comment, “I really like the channel!” And he gave the soap 2 big thumbs up!
Strawberry shortcake pops were crazy good when I was a kid. I would buy more of them but when I do I eat all 6 in like 2 days. They are too irresistible. 😂 I love this soap idea, I can't wait to see all the summer vibes. So nostalgic!
Loved everything about this video. The soap, you, and the swimsuit message at the end. Thank you for these videos 💚I save them for when I need happy thoughts (usually before I go to sleep). Thank you so so much
I’m so happy you’re saying that you want to be more sustainable because I’m already in love with your company and I would love to do a podcast episode with you about your soap company
Katie, all your soaps are so tempting. I just can't justify bringing more into my home when I have at least 6 still wrapped. When I was a kid, orange cream cycles were made with orange sherbet instead of the not creamy orange popsicle stuff. Those were my all time favorite but a close second was the root beer variety. It was like a solid root beer float. Oh, the memories of my Aunt Millie giving me change to get them from the corner store. (Or 2 bottles to return for the deposit)
I love watching your channel ❤ I'm not a soaper (yet) but I am a cake lady. A method of swirl icing I learned was adding color down the side of your piping bags from tip to end for a cool marbling effect in your frosting. You should try that but use your mica/oil mix. Just a suggestion!
I'm also interested in a minimalist lifestyle. I don't care about "stuff" and I don't really decorate. But then hobbies create a problem. I enjoy crafting and art, but they involve so many supplies. This creates a frustrating internal conflict that I don't know how to solve. Also, the Flintstone orange push up pops were my favorite.
Can’t wait for the summer collection. My favorite ice pop was probably the character ones. I know they looked at horrifying at times and nothing like what they were supposed to, but I am mostly bought it just because of the character
As an Australian my favourite icy pole growing up was the lemon flavoured Calypos* (now they have raspberry & pineapple which I like more) * not a misspelling of Calypso
My dad’s family are all from Texas, but my dad and one of his brothers moved to Washington. When my uncle retired from the tech industry, he opened a traditional Texas BBQ restaurant where he serves Blue Bell ice cream and Big Red soda for the full experience. I remember sitting on my gramma’s living room floor eating Blue Bell butter pecan.
My fav was those lion king popsicles that had the gummies in them! I’m only a few years older so I’m sure you’ve probably had them as well, Katie! I still crave those to this day

When I was little I was obsessed with these popsicles that were orange flavoured and had stripes. I think they were called Tigertails. Idk if they still make them anymore but they were great.
As a child my favorite popsicle was the Big Stick, I also liked the really big freezer pops that looked like Otter pops. My favorite Ice Cream was a scoop of the bubble gum ice-cream from K-Mart. It had real bubble gum balls in it.
I had two favorite childhood pops. I loved the spongebob pop that never looked quite correct (Also the powerpuff girl and sonic edition), and I loved the star pop that they used to sell from dairy queen. yeehaw culture is the best thing i've heard in ages. Love it!
My Nanny used to always keep pudding pops in the fridge! Nostalgia!
Our little one loves this soap so much! We don't have to make sure she washes her hands because she comes running out going "smell my hands!!"

I think my favorite growing up were the Otter Pops (aka Freeze pops aka Freezies, etc etc) and of course blue was always my favorite!
My favorite soaps my favorite cold treat .
I want to get my house less cluttered and full of junk too! We’ve done a few rounds of “we’re cleaning this room” and I’m about 26 seconds from renting one of those giant dumpsters and clearing it all out! 🤪
This soap is absolutely gorgeous! NGL I thought when you grabbed the hanger tool “Nnoooo your perfect layers!!! Don’t do it!!” But it came out gorgeously!! Well done, my dear!
This makes my inner child so happy. I actually squealed when I saw the thumbnail. 😄 Bomb Pops and Rocket Pops were my favorite as a kid.
I used to like the Scribblers popsicles that look like crayons. Though I was more of an ice cream kid than a popsicle kid. The soap is gorgeous, I think I might have to get myself one of these
My favorite was always the Snowcone and the Choco-Taco. Now I love the Bomb Pops and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwhich
Strawberry shortcakes are my favorites!

Banana twin pops are the best thing EVER!!! Strawberry shortcakes and orange creamsicles are also top notch.

Stunning! My favourite colour combo and a hanger swirl! The BEST!

I literally gasped and said "OH MYYYY" when you pulled the first bar out....incredible!!!!
That's my favorite island, too. So natural and flowery!
Grape freezer pops, cherry freezer pops and drumsticks were my favorites growing up.
Thank you for your positivity!
Strawberry shortcake pops were crazy good when I was a kid. I would buy more of them but when I do I eat all 6 in like 2 days. They are too irresistible. 😂

Favorite popsicle: The "natural fruit" flavors in the green box. The raspberry ones were the absolute best.
Such beautiful bars of soap! I loved Bomb pops when I was much younger.❤
Katie, all your soaps are so tempting. I just can't justify bringing more into my home when I have at least 6 still wrapped.

Nutter butter and strawberry crunch. That soap swirl is everything

My husband and I went to Kauai for a week on our honeymoon. Loved the island!
these look so good! i'm amazed by the end result!
The flinstones push up was the best on a hot summer day!
Also notable, July contains Bastille day for the French. The colours are bang on for that too.
Definitely ice cream sandwiches! But rocket pops were awesome too. Love this soap.
These are so cute!! My favorite has, and will always well be, strawberry shortcake ice-cream bars. ❤
I've been loyally watching for years but have never bought a soap from you. This is the time!!!
My favorite childhood popsicles are bombpops and the pop-ice in the plastic sleeves! So good😍
My favorite of the year so far! You've really stepped up. Love it!
Can’t wait for the summer collection. My favorite ice pop was probably the character ones. I know they looked at horrifying at times and nothing like what they were supposed to, but I am mostly bought it just because of the character
The rainbow popsicles were the best! My favorite are orange creamsicles though!
You got a great fireworks vibe with the glitter 👍
My favorite truck treat always was the fudge pop. I've always been a sucker for chocolate.
Loving the body positivity swim suit talk at the end 🥰
As an Australian my favourite icy pole growing up was the lemon flavoured Calypos* (now they have raspberry & pineapple which I like more)
* not a misspelling of Calypso
This turned out sooo good!! I loved the bomb pop as a kid.
My dad’s family are all from Texas, but my dad and one of his brothers moved to Washington. When my uncle retired from the tech industry, he opened a traditional Texas BBQ restaurant where he serves Blue Bell ice cream and Big Red soda for the full experience.

I would love to hear about how you make your business more sustainable!
I loved the strawberry shortcake ice creams!
So excited for this collection!!!
It's my birthday today and it's been a bit on the rough side. So excited to see you put out a video today and the fun theme for the coming collection! Thank you for the serotonin boost, Katie! ❤❤❤
Happy birthday! I hope your day gets better 🎁
My favorite ice cream Pop is still orange cream Pop. It's sweet, dreamy, and refreshing 🥳😂😊☺️.
Flintstone push pops were my favorite as a kid!
I'm a fudgesicle girlie. Also OtterPop style popsicles. So fun, gloriously sticky.
I love those Strawberry Shortcake Bars
Girl thank you sooo much for the swimsuit encouragement 🥺🤩
I’ve been debating and I’m going to get that suit!
I love your videos here and want to say thank you for the love and energy we get here from you ❤❤❤❤
Fantastic work! 🩵❤️
I had two favorite childhood pops. I loved the spongebob pop that never looked quite correct (Also the powerpuff girl and sonic edition), and I loved the star pop that they used to sell from dairy queen. There was something so incredibly OP for me about the creamy texture but fruit taste with no dairy. And the hard brittle gumballs on the eyes of the horrifying characters were the best. I love when things have a surprising texture after freezing. Like how hard frozen gummies are!
Drumsticks were my #1 ice cream 🍦 😋 choice!
I love the hanger swirl in this one
We made homemade coconut and pineapple popsicles and they are the best!! So lovely to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Kaua'i! I hope you and your 'Ohana will be able to return soon❤🌺
Those are absolutely perfect and dead on ❤
Orange push pops were our go to summer treats
I've got a soap idea collection theme that I think has potential 😅
Video games are my main hobby so when trying to think of soap themes I was running out of options, you've already done Zelda and Amimal Crossing, and those are my first picks.
Stardew Valley, a farming and social simulator, that's my suggestion , it has beautiful scenery for every season, the game while recognizable certainly has mainstream appeal like harvest collections you've done before.
It would also fit to whatever season the collection lands in, leaving Lots of space for creativity
She did an Animal Crossing themed series a while back and it was so cute! In fact, it inspired me to play the game! Maybe she’ll do another sometime, I’d love that!
Klondike ice cream bar were my favorite!!! Yummy 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Awesome! I just made a bomb pop soap and one of the comments stated it resembled yours (super flattered btw). So, you know I had to come and check it out girl! You are the queen 🫶🏻🤗
my favorite has not changed. to this day my favorite are the strawberry shortcake ice cream bars
Fave ice block down here in NZ was and still is Pineapple Fruju. They have Mango too now, which is tied 😊
I’m so excited for the summer vibes!!!
I cannottt wait to buy these for my daughter!!!!
I alternated between the strawberry shortcake ice cream and bomb pops. I found out this morning that Blue Bell released the summer flavor today! Dr. Pepper Float! I was a bit skeptical as I'm not a float girl, but a friend and her husband tried it and said it was delicious!
Flintsones orange push up was my favorite when I was little
You know that thing you said about Hawaii being minimalistic and caring more about the environment? That's how all the parts of Europe that I've visited are also. I really think that most of the world is that way, except the majority of the USA. Love the soap :) Love bomb pops :) xoxoxoxoxox I hope you're all doing well!
This is such a great idea Katie!! I can't even be sure I have had these, but they scream summer too me
My dad and I have very fond memories of sharing lime popsicles when I was a kid and it was too much sugar for me to eat all myself lol! I loved how tart they were!
sound like a fun collection🤩
Love love love Bomb Pops!
My favorite popsicle is just lemon Italian ice or those frozen ice tubes like the one you got at school or the ones you'd buy in bulk at Walmart
Another winner!!!❤❤❤
YESSS!! One of those requests was me, and I got my visa interview appointment for June 29 so I might actually be there by then!!!
