If you you listen to the fine details these people singing is very unique. They way they bend and twist the notes it makes the song to be imotional. These people are not rwandese their singing and sound is very much of Mulenge people from congo. Their kinyarwanda also sound beautiful in the year. I'm from Burundi and I've been with some banyamulenge they are very known for their style of singing called igisirimba. They start singing at slow paste and build up to speed up rhythm. And they dance as the they riding a horse. The banyamulenge people fled from Rwanda to congo in 18 century due to a bad king in those times Called Rwabugiri. Recent years banyamulenge people found themselves in difficult situations as congolese refused to recognize banyamulenge as congolese. The banyamulenge found themselves in tricky situation as . Although Rwandan government is accommodating them they are not rwandese and congo reject them as congolese. If you ask banyamulenge who they are they prefer to be called congolese rather than rwandese. Their gospel singing is very unique and sweet to the ear. I wish rwandese and burundians would sing like them. This style of singing would have gave us a recognition in africa as South Africa is well known to their uniqueness of singing.
