And great was its fall. The Law of Moses is the ways and righteousness of God and contains His laws and commandments. العلامات الصغرى منها ما وقع في عهد النبي، وبعده، ومنها ما لم يقع بعد، فأولها من حيث الترتيب الزمني بعثة النبي، ففي الحديث «بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَة كَهَاتَيْن - يعني: إصبعين -». وكذلك جاء في حديث جبريل سؤال جبريل للنبي محمد عن الساعة فأخبره النبي بعلامتين من علامات الساعة، قال: «قال: فأخبرني عن الساعة، قال: ما المسؤول بأعلم من السائل، قال: فأخبرني عن أماراتها، قال: أن تلد الأمة ربتها، وأن ترى الحفاة العراة العالة رعاء الشاء، يتطاولون في البنيان.». كما ورد العديد من العلامات والأمارات التي وردت في الأحاديث النبوية.[2]
كذلك يُمكن تقسيم علامات الساعة الصغرى إلى ثلاثة أقسام : قسم منها انقضى، وقسم لا يزال يتكرر، وقسم لم يحدث بعدُ.[3]
