    this is honestly the best video ive watched explaining what spaced repetition is and what Anki is, and what techniques they use for studying and memorization! for me personally, i need things simplified, or i wont understand. I love how you broke everything down. thank you!! :D

    Well done! I've just downloaded the app, and looking forward to upping my Korean level. Question: When adding tags, do you need to separate tags with commas, and is there a maximum number of tags that fit in the field?

    • @BreakOutandSpeak
      @BreakOutandSpeak  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nice! Enjoy it. Hope it helps with your Korean. You can create separate tags just by writing a space, and Anki will create two separate tags. If you want a tag of multiple words for that one tag you can use an underscore, like this (example_tag). There is no explicit maximum number of tags!

    • @BreakOutandSpeak
      @BreakOutandSpeak  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello! You can use voice with cards to record audio on your card itself. Cards are user created so you can enter whatever you'd like. Or download a shared deck if you want from online is possible too 👌

    • @BreakOutandSpeak
      @BreakOutandSpeak  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @DavidHuggett-p9y hi there, the cards are customizable so you enter what you'd like, no auto translations though. The accents come from your computer, so it might work to hold down a letter to have other options with accents pop up

    • @BreakOutandSpeak

      Hello! I personally like having 1 deck per language. Unless perhaps you have a billion cards and want to separate them by level or something. On the desktop when you browse it's easy to drag and drop cards around if you decide you want to move decks. Happy language learning!

    • @BreakOutandSpeak
      @BreakOutandSpeak  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello! Some options for ya:
      - Use a shared deck and delete or ignore the parts you don't want (also sometimes different shared decks have different features)
      - Import from a text file like a CSV if it's easier
      - Add word manually as part of practicing them
      - Use a browser extension to allow you to create cards from webpages (although I haven't tried this last option yet)
      I'd likely import or use a shared deck, but it's your call! Happy language learning

Should i separate the decks for the languages i am learning like (Language 1 /Language 2/ Language 3) and create cards for each topic within these languages using tags to separate them or do like (Language 1 - topic n / Language 2 - topic n/ language 3 - topic n ) being one deck for each topic, for example "english - verb to be; english - asking for directions"?
