It was a miracle from Christ. The same type of miracle that occurred when Jesus told Peter to go fish and pull the coin from the fish's mouth so that Peter could pay taxes. Or where to find a donkey that Jesus could ride into Jerusalem. Or the man that would tell the disciple where the upper room used for the last supper would be located. The man was a complete stranger.
The miracle was not really that the man was clothed, but that the demons that had lived in him for so long were gone. It was a legion of demons and they broke the man's fetters. The man had super strength-incredible strength. Now, that is reason to be amazed. That he was clothed is very minor. And the crowd that gathered, I understood were more upset that they herd of pigs jumped the cliff and not that the man was clothed.
