The democrats traded RFK Jr, Elon and Rogan for Bill Krystal, the Cheney’s and the Bush’s. I never thought republicans would be the cool party. It’s going to take them a generation to recover.

Weird how the crossover of individuals have unfolded since Trump’s entering the political process. Has there ever been a time or person that has had such a massive effect on politics or culture? It’s not just Trump causing this turbulence ,it’s the democrats and their media response driving it.

To use a sports analogy, it was a one sided trade.

Like Newt, I feel the joy. This can't come soon enough. I have some hope for the youngsters now.

Wonder if Continetti and his friends will finally stop saying that Trump is unfit for office?

I watch the podcast too. Explain to me why I’m wrong on this, because I realize I probably am wrong; it seems to me one of the reasons producing a podcast is low cost is because most do not have investigative reporters. It is people sitting around discussing news they got from legacy media, and showing clips of them. If legacy media goes belly up, and they have to do their own investigating and reporting, cost may go up and there may be fewer podcast. I have even heard some of them say something to the effect of, “I watch these shows, so you don’t have to.” What if there were no shows?

As bad as Carter was, he didn't create the inflation of the 70's. Inflation began during the Ford administration. I clearly remember Ford's "Whip inflation now" (WIN) programs

That's right; however, it got much worse under Carter and Reagan 81-82 until the latter got it under control.

Ah, I see that the Dept. of Energy study is totally unbiased, or NOT! It reminds me of the classic book "How to Lie With Statistics."

Paul Volcker brought inflation down, not Reagan. Reagan increased defense spending but he failed to cut other areas of the federal budget. Read David Stockman’s book.

The House of Representatives is in charge of the Money. Tip O'Neil the Leader of the House at the time was in charge of the purse strings. Democrat from Massachusetts. Spending on the Military is in the Constitution. All of O'Neil's special interest groups and social spending, are not.
