- hi sorry i havent uploaded in forever my mental health is not being great rn for several completely different reasons but i will post eventually be patient with me im an animator anyway im gonna post this now before change my mind and my future self will definitely hate me for this later but thats his problem its 11 pm im gonna go snooz

The stick man (I call him cupcake) lost his arm, so if he tries to bring out the claw claw he theoretically can't hurt you. But We should definitely check it out. You try it.

Why would you call the stick man a “stick man” (implying that he was male), but then proceed to call him an “it”? That sentence doesn’t really feel like it has proper consistency.
If a pine tree spends its time around bamboo, that pine tree will think it’s terrible at growing. People grow at different rates. Every work you make that you’re unsatisfied with does so much more for your improvement than you think. Keep making “bad” pieces of work, because that’s the only way you will be able to make good ones.

These messages speak to me way too much... This is really almost creepy, especially with the fact it turned to 9:59 as soon as I watched it... Like, I don't get creeped out but much, this has done it... It resonates with me very much, I do hope you are alright...
I'm not sure exactly what to say but, I know what I would want would be for someone to say "Let's start, together" then I wouldn't feel so alone in it all... I'd have more of a reason to do something, because I'd be doing it for them. I don't want to do something for myself really, I don't feel worth it so much of the time. It's difficult... I hope you can find someone to do it together with, sometimes it's easier that way.
I wish I had better advice but... I'm in it too, at least you are alone in how you feel if that helps. Thanks for the animation and for startling me lol 💙
We’re going to be patient, please don’t worry about us. You and your mental health are the most important things, no matter what. I’m not going to say those are common feelings and everyone has them, but you’re definitely not alone in feeling like this.

I'd call it a solid bit of experimenting around perspective and some horror anatomy.
There isn't always a need for a piece of creative work to be made with a theme or name in mind. It is absolutely just as worthwhile to create whatever random thing you feel like creating, as ultimately the process itself will be a learning experience no matter what, whether that be refining what you can already do or trying something of a completely new direction. So every frame you draw is another step along your journey.
Sure, it's easier for viewers to enjoy what you put out there if there is some sort of narrative to be found in a work, but, as you can probably tell by this comment section, that is definitely not a necessity to have for putting something out there. People can just as well get inspired off of a bit of creative randomness and appreciate the art for the process and effort that went into it.
I hope any of that gave you at least some inkling of encouragment (yes, I can write confidently like that and still find myself doubting the results, you are very much not alone).
This is beautiful, also everyone grows at different rates the worst thing an artist can do to themselves is compare themselves to others.

Always do it. Always pursue your passion even if you're gonna be half dead, the people telling you you have to prioritize your health are people that dont know what its its like to actually pursue something. Focus your energy not on others but perfecting your craft. I don't care if people hate me for this but i hope this message gets through you because when you reach a certain level in your craft, it will feel thrilling as if you can do almost anything and you have the actual skills to bring these to life.

[Small vent] I've been feeling the same way lately. I have ideas for making minute-minute and half long videos and I planned out some of it, would like to do mixed media between super 8 film and filming with my phone as well as doing small animations in blender by tracing over my own footage and combine that with edited portions of songs or mixing my own with samples and playing, and in the middle of sttarting it I just feel like theres no point to it all. It offers nothing. It means nothing. People are going to look at it and say that it was a waste of time. And I'm excellent at wasting time I'm fine with that but it does feel like it means something to me, I just don't know how to get others to see it. Maybe I'll just do it anyway and find out. Maybe people will have different feelings on it than I do, and thats okay, and maybe I'll keep doing it anyway. It would help if I was better at making music than I am at organizing it because I'm really struggling to create the sound and I don't want to only rip out of other people's music to generate the feeling. And it would help if I hadd actual digital equipment for illustration because sitting on my bed and using my trackpad really hurts my hand lol can only get through like 3 or 4 frames at a time, and I'm only tracing over like 25% of the screen at most. But I think it'll be worth it. If not for anyone else at least for myself
