Yes, plz update this game, it’s so entertaining to watch people develop games.
When I started making Cosmic War Tycoon last November, I never even opened Roblox Studio before. I learned LUA, modeling, and game play within a couple of weeks and had a working (very buggy) beta within 2 weeks. Roblox was that awesome to learn and build in even for a beginner like me! Fastforward 1 year later and the game is very full featured and even has a lot of players from time to time. (could use a lot more players hint ... hint ...) Anyway, I love RoBuilder's videos and I have learned a LOT from them!
I made the game all by myself. I didn't have any scripting or modeling friends to learn from so it was challenging to bootstrap all of it solo. If I did it, so can you!
@RoBuilder for your dream game it would be cool if the Roblox characters arm came up and with a smart watch on and then it transitions to the ui u made and the little side wheel on the watch moves from page to page using the scroll wheel on your mouse
Hi RoBuilder if your reading this i need to ask you a quistion? I’m just wondering if you can help me with my game where there is people on a platform holding rocket launchers and the cars have to hit them by going up ramps and running over them but the rocket launchers shoot at the car? How do you calibrate? And thankyou if you do!?!?

Well done! Actually super entertaining, ive made quite a few solo games as well, even though there are many cons, i enjoy doing them because youre more free on choices
This is actually the story of how I made my first proper game. Fully solo, done in two days. It's still the thing I'm proud of the most. Not that hard, but definitely a challenge.

I am a new to all of this been at it for a week trying to make a simulator for my first game and I love every part of it but the hardest part is the scripting but it’s a good challenge. Great video by the way.
Learning scripting (even at a basic level) is very important for any developer, you save lots of time and money.

scripting is easy ash, especially lua, most of it is literally basic talking but a bit more advanced, i mean like literally, to make a wait command you just need to put wait() and to make something function to a circumstance all you have to do is "if" and "then"
@@Yur-w2w And then when you start learning a lot of the basic stuff is inefficient, such as using task.wait() and coroutines instead of wait() and spawn()
you shoud add, sounds, particles, and tweening when collecting parts

nothing wrong with using rescources like dev forum and tutorials, I use it time to time with new stuff as a rather good scripter.

The only feedback I have when playing the game is that there is no sound when you gain ego/pick up ego points. This could be an issue on my side but if it isnt i would definitely add that because it brings alot of satisfaction

Question: whats the difference between gui and ui?
They're often used interchangeably, they stand for "Graphical User Interface" and "User Interface." Before graphics were a regular thing they were different but now they're used pretty much to mean the same thing

As a scripter I have the chance to make games 100% solo. Unfortunately for me I'm really bad at UI and building but my friends can do it so together we can make games together
