This is food for thought. Alternatives to 365 could be 52 or 12. A 52 project could be weekly mini projects, eg, shooting a roll of 120 film once a week. The 12 project could be shooting different techniques on a roll of 135 film once a month. A new subsciber BIG👍🏻s up
I enjoyed what you shared in this podcast, especially the insight about such a project being more about photography than the photographer by its nature. But I do think that a project about the photographer is certainly possible. I think the value of such a project depends on whether the photographer seeks to adhere to something for themselves or with an audience - that may or may not be privy to or care about the project - in mind. One word of advice about audio: watch your plosives. The accumulated effect of a constant barrage of plosives hitting my ears resulted in a lot of listener fatigue. Either use a pop filter or change the angle of the microphone so that it isn't directly in the path of the air expelled from your mouth.
Thanks for this, gave me a lot to think about. I'm just finishing up my digital 366, my 5th one-photo-a-day project, and have recently purchased the I-2. I had been thinking about doing a 365 with it (that's how I found your channel) but you are right, another 365 is probably not the way to go now. I still need to learn the dark secrets of the I-2, but I'll find a gentler and more focussed (forgive the pun) way to do that. Cheers and Merry Everything to you and yours. cool hat 😉
@@fraggleroks someone else that has done 5 365s, and has a Polaroid I-2?? There must be very few people in that category on this earth 😂 Doing a Polaroid 365 is cool but I’m looking forward to saving the resources this next year. Thanks for watching!! Merry Christmas!
