I will be honest, I had never heard of Chad but a week ago one of his videos showed up on my Facebook feed. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Him and Jolene are good hearted, down to earth people and I was an immediate subscriber and supporter of what they are doing. 25 Year metal fabricator here, always played with cars and customizing. This by far has been an amazing video to watch. True enough. I live in Sarasota. It takes more than "just" a million to have toys like those. I'll bet his customers have big boats, too. And several homes. And spoiled rotten grandchildren. Still, those cars and trucks are works of art.

That guy said it right they want champagne on a beer budget. Chad builds cars for people that drink beer and that shop builds cars for people who drink champagne. And they tend to have deeper pockets. And both are very good at the work they do.
Here in Indiana, you can find these 8N and 9N tractors easily for 500-1000 US. Get them running first, then paint/cosmetics and in a few days sell it for 2-3K. Good advice, get them mechanically tight and right first, then spruce them up!
Chad & Jolene thank you for taking us with you! That is one high end shop with a lot of very expensive equipment that they have to keep the builds rolling in so they can pay for it! I wonder what their mechanical and body shop rates are? The car that had 4K hours in it has to be at least about $60K and the body work and painting still need to be done! You can always bet when looking for exquisite craftsmanship with no limit you'll always find a Lowrider as an example. Bought my first 1963 Impala when I was 16. And my Uncle also gave me a 1964 Impala the same year. ~The Buff Guy
It's not a competition when your sharing knowledge you can't get in Collage. Why would you not share ideas because once your gone so is your ideas, stories wisdom sharing to keep the hobby going. Maybe some youngins will see this video and be motivated
Chad you should be at this level of building with qualified employees with your custom idea's in your head this is the direction you should try i think you would do well and the money you would make mix it up high end with rat rods custom and classics you have the skill i know you like being frugal with your money but this would be cool think about start making higher end builds with jolene by your side you wont fail.
and have 14 employees and all that overhead and headaches of deadlines. or wake up walk out to your shop in your backyard and do what you dam well please and make a decent living and be happy. take off a month and go to Australia and dont have to worry about nothing but your dog at home..
It was just a suggestion some people can actually run a custom shop that will make money its not all doom and gloom but I hear you on keeping it small theres nothing wrong without getting headaches everyday by running a big shop

I have a Sketch book that I draw out a project before making it to give me an idea of what I'm going to need to make it. And to have a picture to show my Scott's so they can see what I'm looking for.. it help to have some sort of drawings or picture before starting a project especially if your having help so they know what you need done.
