To this day this is my favorite rap break in any EXO song, Chanyeol just came in so strong! One of my favorite songs in Kpop in general.
Fun fact: saw a comment on another reaction video of a person that actually did camera work on this MV. They built two sets for the video and it was one take shot for each set. The rest was editing. Absolutely amazing.

@@brukrblt you can find the original comment from the reaction to Overdose from G.O.T. Games yt channel. The original commenter said he was the camera operator for this MV and that they used MoVI - the first hand-held gimbal camera stabilizing system ever developed. They shot the whole MV in one shot in both sets - it doesn’t mean they only did it once. They had to do it over and over til they got it right. But they also used a crane for the overhead shots and the rest was apparently editing. EXO Growl MV was truly only one take in one set, if you notice Kai drops his hat at one point in the choreo but picks it up again. They did many takes over and over but decided to keep that one despite Kai’s hat falling off. Yes, EXO is so fckn good people always be doubting. Many reactors often praise the match cuts on Growl MV when in fact there are none, it’s all one take 😂

SM has never promoted exo in the west, they got actually bullied by exols bc they never put English subtitles on their music videos. So they finally did it in the end but that only started happening in 2018. Like we waited for years.

Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". Kyungsoo's unique voice gives each song a unique charm. I'm ready to listen to his voice as much as I want.! The guy who did the flip was TAO, one of the former Chinese members. He is skilled in martial arts.
The one who did the flip at the end is Tao, a former member of EXO. He really skilled at martial art and he did the flip on the performance show/stage too. I've watched once he fell when doing that. He really did injured so much and only have less time to recovered. That why his father wrote a letter of concern to SM and then Tao decided to leave EXO because his father worried about his health. Now he is one of succes solo artist in China.

Just wanted to say I have been a fan of kpop since 2008 and this was very popular when it first came out and is still today and also people still where the look of the sweatshirts tied on the waist and bucket hats as well so things always come back so I don’t think anything should be called outdated when still people wear it

EXO is a diamond not only of SM but of the entire K-POP industry. I sincerely apologize, but the visual effects of EXO are too powerful, as soon as they appear on the stage, they capture you with their dazzle, not letting you go until the very end.
