Does the ring around the button of the lock move back and forth? Mine does, and it looks like there's supposed to be a spring in it. Not sure if I lost a spring, or if it was always lose.

I wasn't planning on buying a new knife today since I just bought a Spyderco Emphasis yesterday but there was a delivery of new CRKTs at the shop where I hang out in. The woman in charge allowed me to go through the new knives. I was like 'ho-hum' just going through the different models when I came upon this. I've been wanting a Clever Girl folder since I've had my fixed blade version since 2021. I'm loving it. Just the other Sunday I purchased a Seismic and I already had my Inazuma No Ken since April of last year.
I am a happy owner of this knife. thanks to you I managed to perfectly adjust the knife. it is a knife of exceptional solidity and the deathbolt closure is equal to, if not greater than, the three lock of the cold steel
I think the knife is priced right! I paid around the $139 mark. SMKWs. It opens extremely quick deployment was much better once I put a drop of Lucas at the pivot. Out of CRKT line I believe it is one of their best. D2 coated blade - I don’t care for the pocket clip. It appears to be on the small side. A more BEEFED up clip I would have given it five stars.. very sharp out if the box.
Hey Lee, $129.27 with tax on Amazon, that's in CA, not sure if tax applies elsewhere, base price is $119.97, it has had 5 price changes in a month according to Honey.
I have the blade, it’s a beast for sure. Do wish the handle was slimmer like the fixed blade and they should have milled the liners to save weight. It’s heavier than it needs to be and extremely handle heavy at that.
I would say I would carry this over the ZT0462 due to the deathlock during deployment. Sure you can move your fingers but try deploying it well under stress not going to happen. I like the price of this knife as well.

@@asfvck7397 I guess I'm just used to my BM 746 lol. It has the same blade only with a swedge up top. Remove the swedge and it would be an identical blade shape.

You are literally paying for one of the most solid and safe locking systems for a folding knife available. If you don’t like it, go be a cheap ass somewhere else. You sound like a whiny bitch.
CRKT was the brand that got me into pocket knives, but sadly the Chicom products like that from Ruike are I think posing a serious threat to U.S.- based companies like CRKT & Kershaw. To me this CRKT is overpriced, even though looks good. Nice review.
All that money because of the locking mechanism... Not worth it to me especially considering I'm left handed so it's just useless for me. Sure I could get used to using it left handed but I'd never pay that much for something that isn't designed to work with me personally. I am digging my code 4 I just got though amazing knife for 80 bucks.
One more comment. Benchmade lost me years ago compared to CRKT. I think your paying for the name… and if you put this CRKT to the challenge against Benchmade - it does fine for half the cost.
