Most underrated guitarist of all time! A true maestro and historian of music. Would love a live album from all his live performances in these small venues. The way he plays Cant find my way home was amazing! No singing required.
G. E. Smith is a great player...along with Matt Schofield is a double treat.
I’ve loved G.E. since his days with Hall & Oates. Such a master!
Well, let's get a little bit funky shall we? Fantastic.
Saw Johnny Clyde Copeland do this song live back in '88 and this brings back great memories.
I just hope the young pickers keep this stuff alive.
Stan
sooner stan . I saw him perform this song, too about the same time at the Winnipeg Folk Festival in Canada. Triggered a few memories for me, too! Thanks!
GE is a cool player!!
these 2 are great...
Nice! Thanks for sharing!!
Magic!
Ive here played in Boca. Wouldnt think this would be enough $$ for GE> Maybe Im wrong.
Delicious!

I didn't know Feargal Sharky played a Tele ;-)
Great groove.
I was never a huge fan of the blues. You know, the 1,4,5 all night long and beat the crap out of the pentatonic scale.
It's ok but I like you know minor, minor 7th, maj 7th chords too. mix em' in.
I saw a guy in a restaurant club playing 1, 4, 5, blues all night long. People were not paying a lot of attention.
For some reason he hit an F Maj 7th chord. Everyone in the room stopped talking and turned and looked at him.
Very interesting, I was thinking......
heck of a story
Blues is soul.
Just saw this comment I made 2 years ago. Maybe a bit too harsh on the blues. I used to see GE with the Scratch Band in New Haven late 70's. I believe he was just starting out then, guess right before Hall and Oates.
