I know you've said about not knowing if people care about these videos, but damn I love seeing them. The strategies you've found are incredible, and I love seeing a game pushed to limits no one thought possible. Echoing what someone else said, when this is all done, even if it can't be done ultra jumpless and requires mini mushroom cheese, I'd love to see a full game run, whether that's here on TH-cam or even in the TAS block of GDQ. ❤️ 💚 💛 💙
Oh absolutely, I love this series so much, as soon as I got one of the early vids in my recommended I immediately subscribed, I love watching these types of challenges!
Yeah but a lot of the strats here are a bit slow so a lot of optimization would have to be done to make it quick enough to be enjoyable to watch for a larger audience. Even still, I think this would be an incredible run to watch live
that would be a sight to behold, but I doubt it considering the frame-perfect tricks required and the fact that all characters need to be in sync at all times
I like your thinking, but world 3 would pose some problems. Namely I’m thinking of the end of 3-1, as well as a decent bit of 3-3, though that level wouldn’t be necessary. World six would also be no cakewalk, given the layout of levels like 6-tower other than those 3 levels though, your idea seems like it could really work for a full ultra jump less run.
the fact that ultra jumpless may actually be completely possible (which completely disallows any jump buttons) is surprising. just goes to show how powerful multiplayer can be
I can't believe that I jurlst realized that the reason why they went into World 2 and took the cannom there is because they couldn't get into the one in World 1.
this makes me sad that the cannon levels aren't like the ones in NSMB2 because that would been amazing to see a level like that completed still though very interesting how nintendo decided to place some random ditch which is the only reason getting in the cannon is possible

Despite being a small stage, Luigi ended up carrying the group anyways.
When you're done with the whole run you're going to have to have tasbot run it at GDQ. Would be so hype

Do you really want to see him life grinding after completing every 2 levels, that’s like an extra hour plus over the course of the run

6-tower is impossible currently, since there isn't any way to get height from flat ground.

it's not a required level for an any%, plus might be doable with mini + ground pound rebound
Ik it's not required, but I don't think W2 is required either. But true, mini mushroom shenanigans could probably work
@@mattalevine w2 was required because world 1 cannon was impossible jumpless iirc. the later stages in w2 weren't required though i think.
