I love Emma Thompson! She is so funny and extremely talented and I've loved her in everything! I do wish she had gotten nominated, but the academy is not into Disney as much. Saving Mr. Banks was a very well done touching movie!
PurushaDesa Meryl helped write her courtroom scene in Kramer vs Kramer! she actually did almost a complete rewrite on it at the request of the director bc she didn’t want Joanna to be one-dimensional. I’m sure she’d be a great writer, but i’m not aware of anything else she’s written.

Emma also writes though. I’m not aware of anything Meryl has written (though I’d be interested if she does).
