Monster Carps

It was on Wednesday, 10 July 2024 @10h00, when Themba Siwele decided to take his family fishing. He casted his first line at 11h00. In about 5 minutes after casting, the alarm went off - it was a monster carp! Well done on the catches. If you are going to release the fish. Consider wetting your unhooking mat before you unhook to preserve the fish slime layer. The slime layer protects the fish from diseases etc.

@@wynandbouwer4195 thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it. All fish were safely released back. This fish were kept in a huge bucket full of water. I’m considering getting a better landing mat as well.
