This is the best Shotokan channel I've seen on TH-cam outside of the official channels of the major organisations. Definitely by far the best compilation of old training, seminar and competition videos spanning the history and different organisations that make up the Shotokan family.
This is from the days when there was 2 factions vying for the JKA name. This faction is the Asai, Abe, Yahara, Kagawa one. Ultimately it lost the court case & over time the various instructors broke away to form their own successful Shotokan Ryu, Yahara (KWF), Abe (JSKA), Kagawa (JKS).
It can be clearly seen here that the techniques come exclusively from the extremities. Oh well! The entire body structure is not active. The result should actually be known to all serious karateka.
