When I say this man had an impact in my life, I mean it. Kim Jung gi is a hero to me. I watched his videos close to everyday, and no matter what he blew my mind. What was more impressive than his drawings is his commitment, dedication, curiosity and passion to understanding subjects, and to draw them. Before I watched Kim Jung Gi, I treated art like a hobby. I only cared about the end result, and got frustrated easily. Watching kim Jung gi, I realized to him art wasn’t a hobby, but a lifestyle. And when it comes to one’s life, you aren’t going to focus at the end of it, but live it during the moment. Kim Jung gi taught me to love drawing, not just the end of it. The moment is what matters the most, but the end has a great impact. I realized Kim Jung gi drew to live, and lived to draw. In all our hearts, I think we can all agree he is a legend.

현진선생님 감사합니다.. 편지를 읽으시면서 울컥하시고 결국엔 눈물이 터지셨을때 저도 가슴으로 울었습니다. 시간을 들여 마음을 들여 힘들게 모든 힘들 절차를 마치고서 정기선생님을 보내주셔서 감사합니다. 근데 정작 현진선생님은 그 모든 와중에 제대로 슬퍼할 겨를도 없었을거라는 생각이 들고 미쳐 슬픔을 수습하고 갈무리 할 여유조차 없었을거라는 생각이 듭니다. 현진선생님이 슬퍼하시는 모습을 보니 다시 원망스럽고 분하다는 생각이 드네요, 왜 뭐가 그렇게 급하다고 단짝같은 PD이자 대표님을 두고 그렇게 황망하게 가셨는지...지금으로선 도저히 알 도리가 없습니다. 근데... 그게 또 우리가 사는 인생이라는 생각이 문득 드네요. 라이브 드로잉이 아니더라도... 현진선생님이 자주 캠을 키고 라이브를 해주시면 그것을 통해 정기샘이 남겨주신 많은 좋은 기억들과 드로잉으로 정기샘을 추모하고 회상하고 소통할 수 있어 좋을것 같다는 생각이 드네요. 서로의 상처를 조금은 보듬어주며 연고를 발라줄 수 있을거라는 생각이 듭니다. 식사 거르지 마시고... 아프지 마세요. 큰일을 치루셨으니 갑자기 아프실까봐 걱정이 됩니다. 현진 선생님의 소식을 기다리고 있었는데... 아직 쉽지 않음에도 이렇게 전해주셔서 감사합니다.
You know, to me I respected and loved Kim Jung Gi more than just an artist. You can tell he truly has fun as he draws. He hasn’t lost his child like spirit. There’s just something so pure and beautiful about a person constantly doing what they love. He just knew how to live in his truth, and didn’t hide it. I didn’t know Kim Jung Gi personally, but I can tell he truly had a special personality and aura around him. I miss Kim Jung gi a lot. When I heard about his passing, it just didn’t feel real. I was just talking about his yesterday before he died, and to me it just didn’t make sense. Kim Jung gi is a man who has all my respects, seriously. Rest In Peace to the goat

This is so hard to watch, I have been skipping this video for a while now my heart goes out to you, i cant imagine what you and your friends and Master Kim's family is going through, my heartfelt condolances to you all. May Master Kim find his throne in Heaven next to Leonardo a bit higher. I am sitting here crying like a kid, im 42 years old, no one has inspired me like Master Kim, i feel there is a massive hole in my life without him. Sympathies to his family and friends. I found this out today watching another video and was sorry to hear it. You did a great job holding yourself together while delivering us information not owed to us. I'm sorry you lost your friend. Having an empty space where someone you love once occupied is hard on the heart and soul. I hope you find a way through the web of grief experienced after loss. Kim Jung Gi's work and the heart he put into it will move on through time inspiring future artist and people along the way. His life will change lives.
for a while i had been hoping to one day meet mr Kim Jung Gi but am too young to do any traveling on my own. So instead a started drawing, a lot, in hopes that i could one day meet him when i was older and have him see my work. When i heard knews of his passing i was extremely sad that the person i looked up to and strived to be passed away. I cried for quite a long time saddened by the news. I have nothing but admiration for Mr Jung gi and still do now. I thank this channel and all of superani for introducing his amazing art to me and so many others so we could be inspired and strive to become someone as great as he was. He inspired me to never stop drawing and for that wanted to thank him for that. His work was very dear to me. Thank you for this video. I hope that everyone that was close to Mr.Jung Gi is doing okay

I can't imagine how hard it was for you to make this video but am glad that you did. I never met Kim Jung Gi but through all his posts, videos and live stream, it almost feels like I did. The way he was so eager to share his artwork and his knowledge with us and with such a joyful smile is a gift we will always cherish. He's a legend and his legacy will live on for a long time.

현진선생님 감사합니다.. 편지를 읽으시면서 울컥하시고 결국엔 눈물이 터지셨을때 저도 가슴으로 울었습니다. 시간을 들여 마음을 들여 힘들게 모든 힘들 절차를 마치고서 정기선생님을 보내주셔서 감사합니다. 근데 정작 현진선생님은 그 모든 와중에 제대로 슬퍼할 겨를도 없었을거라는 생각이 들고 미쳐 슬픔을 수습하고 갈무리 할 여유조차 없었을거라는 생각이 듭니다. 현진선생님이 슬퍼하시는 모습을 보니 다시 원망스럽고 분하다는 생각이 드네요, 왜 뭐가 그렇게 급하다고 단짝같은 PD이자 대표님을 두고 그렇게 황망하게 가셨는지...지금으로선 도저히 알 도리가 없습니다. 근데... 그게 또 우리가 사는 인생이라는 생각이 문득 드네요. 라이브 드로잉이 아니더라도... 현진선생님이 자주 캠을 키고 라이브를 해주시면 그것을 통해 정기샘이 남겨주신 많은 좋은 기억들과 드로잉으로 정기샘을 추모하고 회상하고 소통할 수 있어 좋을것 같다는 생각이 드네요. 서로의 상처를 조금은 보듬어주며 연고를 발라줄 수 있을거라는 생각이 듭니다. 식사 거르지 마시고... 아프지 마세요. 큰일을 치루셨으니 갑자기 아프실까봐 걱정이 됩니다. 현진 선생님의 소식을 기다리고 있었는데... 아직 쉽지 않음에도 이렇게 전해주셔서 감사합니다.
You know, to me I respected and loved Kim Jung Gi more than just an artist.
You can tell he truly has fun as he draws. He hasn’t lost his child like spirit. There’s just something so pure and beautiful about a person constantly doing what they love. He just knew how to live in his truth, and didn’t hide it.
I didn’t know Kim Jung Gi personally, but I can tell he truly had a special personality and aura around him. I miss Kim Jung gi a lot.
When I heard about his passing, it just didn’t feel real. I was just talking about his yesterday before he died, and to me it just didn’t make sense. Kim Jung gi is a man who has all my respects, seriously. Rest In Peace to the goat

This is so hard to watch, I have been skipping this video for a while now my heart goes out to you, i cant imagine what you and your friends and Master Kim's family is going through, my heartfelt condolances to you all. May Master Kim find his throne in Heaven next to Leonardo a bit higher. I am sitting here crying like a kid, im 42 years old, no one has inspired me like Master Kim, i feel there is a massive hole in my life without him. I hope you find peace in due time, he will be missed and how lucky were we to see him draw while he was alive. I am currently trying to bribe his soul to transfer to me all his knowledge and skills, funny enough i reckon hes still around in spirit. Sympathies to his family and friends. I found this out today watching another video and was sorry to hear it. You did a great job holding yourself together while delivering us information not owed to us. I'm sorry you lost your friend. Having an empty space where someone you love once occupied is hard on the heart and soul. I hope you find a way through the web of grief experienced after loss. Kim Jung Gi's work and the heart he put into it will move on through time inspiring future artist and people along the way. His life will change lives.

for a while i had been hoping to one day meet mr Kim Jung Gi but am too young to do any traveling on my own. So instead a started drawing, a lot, in hopes that i could one day meet him when i was older and have him see my work. When i heard knews of his passing i was extremely sad that the person i looked up to and strived to be passed away. I cried for quite a long time saddened by the news. I have nothing but admiration for Mr Jung gi and still do now. I thank this channel and all of superani for introducing his amazing art to me and so many others so we could be inspired and strive to become someone as great as he was. He inspired me to never stop drawing and for that wanted to thank him for that. His work was very dear to me. Thank you for this video. I hope that everyone that was close to Mr.Jung Gi is doing okay

I can't imagine how hard it was for you to make this video but am glad that you did. I never met Kim Jung Gi but through all his posts, videos and live stream, it almost feels like I did. The way he was so eager to share his artwork and his knowledge with us and with such a joyful smile is a gift we will always cherish. He's a legend and his legacy will live on for a long time.

Seguia sus dibujos desde internet, no tenia recursos para poder ir a ver sus eventos o poder comprar sus libros. Vivo muy lejos, en otro continente, pero aun asi, el fue una gran inspiracion para mi.
