I think it was just too early. After the contest was cancelled in 2020, it would have been Keiino two times in a row and idk... would it really have worked so well again? Still, it's a great song.
Still think they were robbed in 2019. This is the perfect Eurovision song, the perfect insync singing performance, the perfect mixture of folklore and synthpop. One of my alltime favourites. Love them so much. Thank you for sharing this!
Don't get me wrong, I love Keiino as much as most Eurovision Song Contest fans...and I hope they return again to ESC at some point. ...that said, I liked Fallen Angel that year in 2021 as well, so while I was a little disappointed at Keiino not representing Norway at Rotterdam 2021, Fallen Angel has become my personal ESC guilty pleasure.
I think they came 5 but then there was an error or something and they were pushed up one spot:p it was a nice surprise though from watching them get practically no jury votes. And baam most from the audience:)

It’s really hard to win in Norway’s MGP again. Even Ulrikke lost on her second attempt earlier this year.

I was honestly shocked when they didn‘t even get top 5 in 2019. To this day no act of that year measures up to spirit in the sky imo.
