It's 4:23 a.m. The dog sleeps at the foot of my bed. Snoring even. Unknowingly rubbing it in more that sleep evades me presently. I wonder if I need to, once again, reassess my 'pillow situation', as I irritatingly refer to it. I wonder if it is the fault of the mattress. I talk to the dog -- asking him to stop snoring. He sighs. And he's asleep again moments later. I'm grateful beyond words that you are here, Kathryn, keeping me company on these infrequent nights where sleep evades me. You remind me to take time to develop again my ability to imagine and dream and not lose that important skill. Your voice coming through my little ear speaker 🔊 I plug into my cell phone every night 🌙 keeps me from despairing on nights like this. It surprises me that, with over 7 thousand listens, only a couple of people comment. I guess they're all asleep 😴 😉. Anyway, thank you again. You matter a great deal to many of us. 🤍
