I most enjoyed Not the Rolling Stones, if merely because of the superior filmography and sound quality. For the other bands, I think "you had to have been there" to make a judgement.

Their was a bar band in the late 70' early 80' called Sticky Fingers, they played the Jersey shore bar circuit fronted by a hairdresser named Larry and backed by the best of the best musicians. I believe most were from the legendary Jersey bar band SAM the Band. Some nights, when they first got together and weren't burnt out yet they were almost as Great as the Stones.
I can appreciate the T-Rex tribute, but Bolan didn't have much of a catolog of recognizable songs (at least not in the U.S.) - kind of a stretch to do a whole tribute show on that guy.
Shot of Poison would be better if the Bret would sing more like Bret, wear tight clothes like Bret, and do more of Bret’s moves. Everyone else was spot on. Maybe change “Rikki”’s hairstyle.
shot of poison would have been perfect if they had a cc deville look alike up there all wasted and screwing things up .and Pyromania i hope were going for how def leppard looks now .. the Judas Priestess really destroyed that song and not in a good way . the rolling stones one really should turn the back up singers mic down holy crap and finally T. Rextasy what the hell did i just watch .. theses are just my opinions ... much love from hamilton ontario canada .. keep rocking marvin
Hey Michael. There was an interview with Shot of poison before the song started and they did say that they are the only tribute band who based on the band today...so well spotted.
