  • A stunning 1994 Defender 110 - Hicap - Coniston green classic. Available now
This 1994 Defender 110 High-Capacity Pick up has been refurbished in gleaming Land Rover Coniston green with an ivory-white roof and classic steel wheels. The refurbishment included a full body re-spray with the doors, roof, hood and tailgate all being disassembled and painted separately, giving it a deep gloss finish. Known in short as the “Hi-Cap”, the High-Capacity pick up (HCPU) is a rarely seen Defender configuration in Europe and even more so in the United States, standing out as an unusual and rare collectible. It’s equipped with diesel power, right-hand drive authenticity and is one unique pick-up truck. The front retains the same boxy design and the overall features of a regular Defender and with the shape and style of a good ole fashioned and utilitarian pick-up truck bed in the rear. It's powered by a 300Tdi diesel engine with 89k miles and runs and drives superbly. With its 2.5lt turbocharged direct injection (Tdi) technology paired with the robust R380 5-speed manual gearbox, it provides great power, torque, longevity, and reliability. The simplicity and ease of maintenance of a 300Tdi engine, as well as being powerful and economical, it makes for an ideal vehicle for any off-road adventure or just for a cruise around town. In its classic British green paint, it’s a lovely Defender 110 with plenty of old school strength mixed with authentic charm. There just aren't many vehicles on the road that are as rugged and stylish as this one.
From the farm to the trails this Land Rover pickup offers a minimalistic interior, just the way we like them, so you get to enjoy the driving experience of this Defender to the max. Sometimes less is more when it comes to vintage trucks. The interior has been pleasantly refurbished with Exmoor Trim heavy-duty tan canvas seats, Exmoor Trim interior carpet, retro gear knobs and an elegant Exmoor Trim wood rim steering wheel. Exterior upgrades that are both aesthetically and functionally appealing include updated LED lights, foldable side steps, KBX Hi-force air intakes, front steering guard protection, chequer plate wing tops and a Safari snorkel. All lights, heater, wipers and gauges work, as they should. The recent refurbishment included a full body re-spray with the doors, roof, hood and tailgate all being disassembled and painted separately. All hardware was replaced to factory spec with new door seals, windscreen glass, windscreen seal, rearview mirror, gloss side mirrors, door handles, door locks, exterior window seals, door hinges, door hinge bolts, rear tailgate, tailgate bolts, tailgate clamps and tailgate dropdown cables to further enhance the new truck feel. The suspension has been replaced and it rides on Terrafirma 2” lifted suspension, new springs, shocks, bushings, tubular shock towers, steering damper and heavy-duty drive flanges. It also has an extra 1” suspension spacer up front to avoid any excess rake, so it sits level with the perfect stance with no excess rake. Fitted with iconic Land Rover 16” steel wheels wrapped with Falken all-terrain tires, which gives it aggressive styling. Factory equipped with power steering and disc brakes all round, reminds you that go-anywhere also means being easy to drive but more importantly enjoyable once you're sat behind the wheel. The truck bed is authentic and rugged, but it has been fully raptor coated for some extra protection. Head down to your local hardware store and see how many necks you break or compliments you’ll receive, as there probably won't be another pick-up truck like it in the parking lot. This Defender 110 Hi-Cap will not disappoint and is a wonderful chance to own a unique, capable, and fun vehicle, especially for a buyer looking for a “Life’s too Short to Drive a Boring Car".
