Thanks for all your videos and not cramming your ego into it like so many others. I was a portrait photographer in the 60s with different medium format cameras. I did my editing with a enlarger. Now I have a 6500, Zhiyun and about 7 lenses. But I am 73 and a dial telephone is my limit. So I shoot jpeg and edit while composing like the old days. You inspire me.

Sometimes it is impossible to get the video you originally intended to shoot. But you can always shift the focus a bit and make the best of your environment. The audience doesn't know what you intended to shoot, only what you show them in the final product.

I was there while you were filming this. The family you took a photo of at 3:36 I sat while they ate ice cream and their daughter dropped ice cream and squirrels ran over, I chatted with the Dad for a few a very nice group of people. I just thought it was funny that I came across this video filmed the same day I was there! Thank you, it gave me a chatting point with my family!

Very nicely done. I am going to try some of your tips. I appreciate the very well put together and easy to follow tips. The breaks were very natural and switching between concept and concept was very easy. I could pause the video at each point and retain the information easily.

I thought this was going to be a 'how to' using video editing software but - even though it wasn't - I thoroughly enjoyed it! Your camera skills and smooth techniques both in front of and behind the camera are fantastic! xoxo

VERY well done! Your tips are really great. It really seemed that there was no one else there ... But that also shows the "problem" with travel videos, because very many of them do not show "the real world" with all the people in it. So everyone's expectation of those locations is: "Wow! Look at how empty that is. There's gonna be just us!"
And when they arrive, dozens to thousands of people are there! Who would have thought that there are so many other people who wanted to see .. the Eiffel Tower ... the Louvre ... the Gizeh Pyramids ... the Colloseum in Rome ... the Empire State Building?
So look and learn and leave the other people out of your travel video! :-)
