Bts, I saw Anita Baker at an outdoor concert decades ago up in SPAC [ Saratoga Performing Arts Center ] a beautiful venue in upstate New York, Saratoga State Park, Freihoffers Jazz Festival...When someone in the band played a note that was "off key", Anita stopped the show and screaming said you won't be up here in the future if you don't %@&#....The vibe of all the artists on the Main Stage and smaller Gazebos, was totally ruined... I had driven 6 hours from Brooklyn, paid for tickets, hotel, etc to attend this Saturday and Sunday annual event the last weekend in June for 30+ years.... I have scene major artists from Jazz, R&B. Pop including Wayne Shorter, Dizzy, Gladys Knight, Stanley Turretine James Brown, David Sanborn, Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald etc. I am still a fan of Anita... ( as an African American Female, I can get away with saying this, Lol)... Anita Baker reminds me of a composite Black version of Judy Garland and Edith Piaf, with her stature and hand gestures on stage, Lol.
Tisha Campbell and Tinshad Arnold are the best hosts at the soul train awards bet sing them because they are really funny and enthusiastic to people 🔥🥰🎵🎶
