Amazing how the vocabulary travels so far. I am Greek and many of these words entered Greek through Turkish during the Ottoman years. My mum's family are from the Black Sea region, and the food the Greeks (Pontians) there ate have the same names. Shurbo = Çorba = Σορβάς / Sorvás, a soup made from corn meal. Qatiq = Γατούχ / Ghatoukh, refreshing drink of yoghurt mixed with water. Qurut = Kuru = Κουρού meaning dry in Turkish, in Greek kouroú is a cheese pastry.
The word katık removed from our(Blacksea Turkish) dialect. We are using "Ayran" anymore. İstanbul dominated to everywhere :) And Çorba means soup in Turkish. Some Greek loanwords to removing with istanbul dialect effect.
Shurba is a persian word and persian food bro we have it in iran shur=salty+ba(being) It means something that is tasty and salty And kashk, or as it is also called qorut, is an persian snack It means that most of these dishes are like that like shashlik Because tajikistan is a persian country like iran And it is natural for countries that have the same language and ethnicity to have the same food and to be very similar in terms of food culture. Just because of the neighborhood with the uzbeks and kazakhs, the names of some of their dishes have changed

Most of the comments, if not all, are countries from Asia, the surprise is that I am from an African Arab country which is Egypt 🇪🇬, and I learn Tajik and would like to know more about the culture of this beautiful Muslim country. Long live Tajikistan. 🇹🇯
That's a good question. We call it Mantu but it's known as Manti in other coutries so we thought it would be easier for other people to understand it. Uzbeks in Tajikistan call it Manti though
