It was not a music finale but just an advertisements finale. The program was scheduled for 5 hours, surprisingly 9 songs by 6 finalists took only 45 minutes and the rest 4+ hours was utilized for advertisements and other boring activities. I feel sorry for the finalists. Criteria for winning the title was depended on the 2 songs in the final? I am surprised, as in the past, aravind sung "maruthamalai " well but the second one with balram was not up to the mark for winning SS9. I feel pitty for disha, when you look at her performance throughout SS9 and right from the beginning, except one slip in the semi final, she was excellent in all form of music including the two songs in the final super seeding others in the final. It is unfortunate, voting power overtook musical talent, yet again, in a Star Singer final. സംഗീതം തോറ്റു ഒരിക്കൽക്കൂടി, മറ്റൊരു ഭാവത്തിനോട്, ജനങ്ങളെ വിഡ്ഢികളാക്കി!!!

It was not a music finale but just an advertisements finale. The program was scheduled for 5 hours, surprisingly 9 songs by 6 finalists took only 45 minutes and the rest 4+ hours was utilized for advertisements and other boring activities. I feel sorry for the finalists. Criteria for winning the title was depended on the 2 songs in the final? I am surprised, as in the past, aravind sung "maruthamalai " well but the second one with balram was not up to the mark for winning SS9. I feel pitty for disha, when you look at her performance throughout SS9 and right from the beginning, except one slip in the semi final, she was excellent in all form of music including the two songs in the final super seeding others in the final. It is unfortunate, voting power overtook musical talent, yet again, in a Star Singer final. സംഗീതം തോറ്റു ഒരിക്കൽക്കൂടി, മറ്റൊരു ഭാവത്തിനോട്, ജനങ്ങളെ വിഡ്ഢികളാക്കി!!!

I don’t think anyone else there will even dare to attempt Bhaavayami padumente. Dishakutty is the only who can sing it live. Other than her maybe Balram or Aravind.
