I cant rave enough about mine.. i have strats, LPs, revstars, but since the day i bought my DGT SE - all sit dormant. Great pickups, plays great, trem fanstastic and love love the split coil, treble bleed dual volume combo for tonal variation. Not saying better than high end strats i have but just works for me on all levels.
@@steved1099 I couldn’t agree more! I’ve had all types of guitars and love them all for different reasons but there’s something special about the DGT. I don’t use the coil split very much but I’m always impressed at how good it is when I do.
@@SundaySetlist I coil split for robben Ford, knopfler and even mayer stuff, essentially whenever I need to back off the power of the buckers and keep clarity. It just does everything.
The problem I have with DGT is that it can't hit high notes. The guitar sounds like it can only play low notes. If I play the rock music, or modern music, it just sounds too dark and boring.
@@JoonKimDMD I agree that the DGT is warm and can be a bit dark. But you can brighten it up by changing some amp settings. Also try raising the pickups and maybe change the strings to 9’s.
@JoonKimDMD I have a DGT SE, and it has no dramas singing like a bird or screaming like a banshee, high notes ate not an issue, but as you said it is warm, but I believe that is part of its charm
Let me know your thoughts on the PRS SE DGT. Do you have one? Want one? I kept this video short but if you want anymore info just let me know!
Awesome playing 🎸 ❤ 🔥 awesome guitar and very affordable
@@massimos6863 Thanks! Yeah these guitars are a great value
New sub! I just got one as my first guitar. A gold top model like that one. Now, I just need to learn how to make it sing. :)
@@Lordofmrak Thanks 🙏🏻 This guitar does a lot of the work for you but it’s just practice my friend!

My DGT has never sounded that good 😮 but it's not gold either.
@@matt79hz Haha 😂 Gold makes all the difference 😎
