FXR Combat Leather Gauntlets is what I picked up a couple years back, because I noted one review by a rider had them wearing it at -f temperatures without an issue or needing to turn on their heated grips to stay warm for the ride. It's a little wide with all the insulation in them, and a little hard to grip the brake both on my Helix and NM4, but it works just fine for keeping me warm if my hands are warm when I put them on.
@@ridefitnation it's the heavy fog I hate to ride in when that moisture is getting all over everything. I can be cold, wet, hot, whatever- but when I can't see, that ain't fun! I am still ridin tho! That ain't gonna stop!
LOL, Brick is no joke especially the shrinkage! I think any type of heated hear is going to start to become ineffective below a certain temp usually around 30-40 degrees. I have heated gloves, jacket, pants and socks and it's a hassle to deal with, but you definitely appreciate it. I agree with you about the hand guards as well. I wound up having to adjust my mirrors to sit before the wind guards just to stop that downdraft. Ride safe, stay warm.... no more Brick-ing!
Heated grips along with hand guards help. Problem is that air is getting inside your gloves. A liner inside the gloves helps too. None of that compares to heated gloves. They are like magic!
Man that’s why I took my heated grips off. They didn’t do anything for me. Just get a good set of heated gloves. Hotwire baby. The heated grip was a waste of money for me

I rode this morning in 23 degrees. No heated anything, just leather gloves. It was cold but it was beautiful and sunny! Get up and get out!

That gif ain’t no joke @@larryrock11 I aim to avoid it at all cost. I wait is we see what’s in front of me. Other than that I’m good to go. 💪🏾💯

🤣🤣🤣💯💯
I have heated gloves and pants. I haven't tried the pants yet. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching! The pants works wonders.
Heated glove liners are more efficient and rider can use with multiple gloves.
@@bobberguy1 yup. I agree 100%
Yes. They are the ones that came on the bike

Agreed!👍🏽
...and your still gonna go riding??!!! True rider
💯💯
I have heated gloves, pants, socks, and a jacket. 😂
Same here. I'm going to wrap my wife around my neck so I can have a heated wife too. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love my heated grips!!
💪🏾
I’ve been looking at heated gear myself. I put enough layers on that my hands are the only thing that gets cold in winter.
The heated gloves will make a difference.
Good morning... funny😂

Definitely heated glove liners and think gloves is my go to. I can see the guards being a good investment but not the grips

But the heat grips on my bike get extremely hot
Do they work well during the really cold days @@donaldoconner6901 ? I’m also assuming you have the Harley ones.
I don't like heated grip I love my heated gloves
I agree 100%. The heated grips have it's place but the gloves is hand down the best.
I haven't rode in weather that cold yet. 💯🦾
Let me know when you so I can hear your full review. 💯💪🏾
You didn’t get the ones from Harley they’re the only ones that work the best
That’s what I heard. But my fingers would still suffer.
Being in Ohio I use the Gerbine Heated Gear from head to toe, it does the trick.
Gerbing is definitely top tier.
Heated grips and hippo hands is best
Those hippo hands are the truth
Your finger tips don’t even touch the grips at all. Waste of money to me
Yup! I don’t think I wasted money because it will come in handy on certain days. But NOT for extreme cold.
