Maldives should be grateful to India for massive assistance. India saved Maldives from military coup in 1988 and India was the first to assist Maldives during the 2004 Tsunami as well as the water crisis in Malé in 2014. India built first hospitals, college, airport, stadium and gifted 2 helicopters. The former Maldives's government maintained friendly relationship with India. However, the newly elected government is pro China and spread hate against India. Recently, Maldives sought debt relief from India.
No trade nor cordial relations with hostile nations. India does not require Maldives or Pakistan !!!
